Spring Garden Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello blog visitors and followers… You can tell I’m thinking spring (probably because it has been so warm here in Southern California), especially with the color scheme I used for this journaling cards freebie.

You can see elements of spring with all the tiny flowers  I added to this freebie as well.  My design idea is of a spring garden.   I also added a cool turquoise color to the color scheme.  Just so pretty!

As for the details about the journaling cards freebie– there are 16 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.

As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.   Hope you like them.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 16 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is 1.81 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: hot pink, light pink, light green, turquoise

Thank You for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.  Thanks for your patience with the sporadic blog posting of the past month or so.

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs on your blogs and that has contributed to the increased traffic.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!  You guys and gals often find things I don’t often run into and it just serves to expand and generate new ideas.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Some things you should know before downloading:

* Vintage Glam Studio printables (formerly under the name Vintage Glam Collectibles) are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Cherries-and-Cream Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello blog followers and visitors…Today, we have an update or coordinating “project life” or journaling cards freebie with a Cherries theme layout I designed in June of 2013, and where I also used one of my favorite color schemes–the colors teal blue, Tiffany blue and red.

The following pic has the link to the original journaling elements layout freebie.

You have probably seen my Christmas freebies with this color scheme but I keep reusing it since I  find the colors so lovely for other holiday’s & upcoming spring paper crafting as well.   Although, Valentine’s Day has since passed, I still included a few hearts in the designs from the original digital paper referenced below. Hope you like this new set! 🙂

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable was designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file with 25 elements.
  • The file size is 1.57 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.
  • Printing tip:  Print on heavy white cardstock, matte or plain.
  • Color scheme: red, turquoise, white, black

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Portrait or a Silhouette Cameo or other digital cutter (i.e. Cricut) you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.)
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I am so grateful for your interest and pinning activity.    I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love” .   I know you don’t always have time to leave a comment because you are busy, so I really appreciate it when blog visitors take the time to either like or comment.

Thank you for your single pins and for some of you,  multiple pins of my various designs on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

Valentine Banner Phrases – Free Printable

Happy Valentine’s Day!  I hope your day is great with friends, loved ones and family!  I just wanted to create a little add-on for your paper crafting with a freebie of  Valentine banners  filled with phrases and wishes.

I saw something similar at Target with four banners at approximately a $1.00 USD and I thought why not create some of my own to share with others?  So, here goes a few Valentine banners with  a variety of sentiments.

This free printable has 18 elements, the banners are 3″ wide and approximately 3/4″ inch in height ,  all set up on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.   They were created at 300 dpi with a variation of pink colors and a few different font styles.

I have seen these banners used with project life layouts, but I think they are versatile enough to use with other paper crafts.    I hope you like them and enjoy them!  Thanks for all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious thank yous!

As usual these are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.) If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick TOU before you access the printable.
