Free Whimsical Vintage Style October Monthly Calendar

Hello peeps! Today, (it’s Octobe! ) I am providing these Whimsical October Calendar printables for a variety of junk journaling projects and fun planning ones, too. With today’s freebie I have provided printables with a cute “get in the Halloween mood” fun cartoon styling . I hope you like these designs. You will be seeing more in the very near future.

I designed these with Chatgpt Plus and Adobe Firefly for prompting, designing and upscaling these AI generated images. I specifically worked on the prompts to get this vintage woodcut styling and I hope you like it!

Your printing results will vary depending on the type of printer you have, as a general rule the higher the dpi that your printer can print, the clearer your images will be. You can always take them to the nearest Office Depot or Staples (here in the US) to get higher quality printing if you are using these for a special journaling project.

I hope this freebie inspires you in your crafting, art journaling, junk journaling and/or scrapbooking time with today’s vintage freebie.

Transylvania October Calendar Inspiration

As mentioned above, I have been developing and working on improving the quality of my printables using a variety of Ai tools and Photoshop CC. It is a learning curve but I hope you are liking the designs. I am working on cute Halloween/October designs and this character was one of them. I thought why not get into the Halloween mood and provide a monthly calendar with this type of fun and whimsical styling? I have created 3″ x 4″ journaling cards as well.

If you are not into junk or art journaling, you can also pop these into the pockets of A5 planners or Traveler’s Notebooks if you enjoy a vintage aesthetic, as I do.

Also, I thought I would mention that Creative Fabrica (a great graphic resource site and my go to site for many modern and vintagefonts) is gearing up for another great promotion, they just keep getting better and expanding the kinds of graphics that they are offering and the AI tools in their Studio AI update, so check them out if you choose.

Facts about the October Monthly Calendar Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are two journaling options in this printable available today. You can use these elements for journaling in your traveler’s notebook projects, smashbooks, junk journals or other types of memory keeping. This printables are for diy crafts but, of course, can be used in your journals.

This free printable post today has two journaling printables. These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp. They can be used in either the Silhouette Cameo or Cricut digital cutters to cut them out or you can use scissors and a slide cutter. You don’t absolutely need a digital cutter to print, cut and assemble your projects but they’re great tools!

**Please note, although I used public domain and AI generated resources to create this design, the design is under my copyright.**

Materials Needed

*White cardstock or white sticker paper, depending on your final use. You might consider white matte photo paper as I have included photo images in the journaling cards printable. Other journaling crafters have mentioned Southworth linen/cotton paper for printing journaling papers to get that almost cloth like texture for your paper.

*Vintage inks, such as Tim Holtz Distress Inkpads, to give the edges a worn, tinted or aged look, if that is your preference. This process takes off the white edge (distressed) of the journaling cards and journaling spots, if you are using them for junk journaling and gives the paper a subtle, aged and worn look. With these inks you control the amount of tinting and color you prefer on your edges.

*Scissors or slide cutter

*Photo editing software (i.e., Photoshop Elements) for jpeg files or Silhouette or other digital cutters.

Doodled Annual Calendar for 2026 Printables

Hello peeps.. as we indulge in the privilege to celebrate another Happy New Year! I hope you had a great New Year celebration and have kicked off your New Year well with lots of fresh ideas for planning and crafting fun. I’m sure your calendar is already filling up with Tasks To Do or fun Things to Buy! Today, I have released a set of doodled annual calendars for 2026, so that you can get ready for all your planning for the upcoming year.

You’ll have two choices to choose from:

1) a doodled annual calendar which is set up with a Sun-through-Sat week and/or

2) a doodled annual calendar that is set up with a Mon-through-Sun week and provides the week number. This was specifically created for Erin Condren and Happy Planner users; however, of course, it can be used as a reference for project life fans as well as regular personal and work planning.

Ideally, you can use your calendar by referring to each week during your planning time and planning out your weekly to do’s. You might have developed the habit of taking at least 20 minutes every Sunday evening to view the week’s upcoming tasks and to do’s on your to-do list for the week.

If not, now’s the time to develop that habit for the new year especially if “being more productive” or “using my time wisely” will be one of your New Year’s resolutions!

Using your Doodled Annual Calendar

I designed this organization/planner freebie in order to get a bird’s eye view of the year all on one page and decorated it with a variety of florals and tiny doodles. I used a variety of fonts for this layout and decided that a vintage font for the Month names might be fun! This time the background is filled with doodled flowers! I purchased these fonts from one of my go-to design and favorite graphic sites Creative Fabrica. I also used elements from another favorite graphic site, Rawpixel. I hope you check out both sites as they are developing new AI tools for your designing and crafting needs.

The weekly format is Sunday through Saturday and the weekends are light grey. I have provided two doodled annual calendar printables, one regular and one with the week’s number on the left hand side. You can reduce the printable in order to fit most planners, if you would like to use them as an insert. I used a vintage font for the calendar layout.

You can use the calendar to refer to as you plan your week or for other purposes.

Planning Your Week

I also designed the following printable to use as a brain dump to provide you a “worksheet” to gather or place all your tasks for the upcoming week. This is an oldie but goodie design. It’s sort of a pre-planning sheet or a place to list all your “to do’s” and then commit them to a specific day.

It isn’t a necessary step, but I find it helpful to write up all my tasks, then allocate the day of the week I will post them in my planner. If I don’t get to all of the tasks, at least I can pick from the “top three” tasks for each day and feel I have been productive.

Here’s a sample of that weekly planner page. You can click on the image to access that printable as well. It is available in three soft pastel colors.

Choosing Your Planner

Your planner choice will be a very personal one ( if you are not using one already) and there are many variables that will contribute to your decision. I will go through some of those variables in future posts. This year I am changing up my planner choices with a different layout and planner but that doesn’t mean I don’t have additional planners that I would like to share throughout the year.

For your information, since I do provide many of my own Erin Condren printable designs on this blog, I wanted to show you a sample layout for past year’s “new” redesigned Erin Condren interior pages. Due to copyright issues, this is just a similar design of Erin Condren’s “new” redesigned layout but not an exact one. This gives you an idea of how one of your pages might be laid out as you list your tasks. I’ve taken some of the tasks from a winter bucket list, I previously provided. This gives a general idea of the layout.

In addition, I have a board on Pinterest you might want to follow that has several ideas by other designers for Home Office Planning , stationery and Erin Condren Life Planner, Happy Planner, and other types of planner needs. You can view that board here, Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.
