Doodled Annual Calendar 2023 – Free Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello peeps and again Happy New Year!  Today,  I have released a set of doodled annual calendars for 2023, so that you can get ready for all your planning for the upcoming year.

You’ll have two choices to choose from:

1) a doodled annual calendar which is set up with a Sun-through-Sat week and/or

2) a doodled annual calendar that is set up with a  Mon-through-Sun week  and provides the week number.  This was specifically created for Erin Condren and Happy Planner users; however, of course, it can be used as a reference for project life fans as well as regular personal and work planning.

Ideally, you can use your calendar by  referring to  each week during your planning time and planning out your weekly to do’s.  You might have developed the habit of taking at least 20 minutes every Sunday evening to view the week’s upcoming tasks and to do’s on your to-do list for the week.

If not, now’s the time to develop that habit for the new year especially if “being more productive”  or “using my time wisely” will be one of your New Year’s resolutions!

Using your Doodled Annual Calendar

I designed this organization/planner freebie in order to get a bird’s eye view of the year all on one page and decorated it with a variety of doodles. I used a variety of fonts for this layout and decided that a script font for the Month names might be fun!  I purchased these fonts from one of my go-to design and graphic sites Creative Fabrica.  The week format is Sunday through Saturday and the weekends are light grey.  I have provided two doodled annual calendar printables, one regular and one with the week’s number on the left hand side.  You can reduce the printable in order to fit most planners,  if you would like to use them as an insert.

You can use the calendar to refer to as you plan your week or for other purposes.

Planning Your Week

I also designed the following printable to use as a brain dump to provide you a “worksheet” to gather or place all your tasks for the upcoming week.  It’s sort of a pre-planning sheet or a place to list all your “to do’s” and then commit them to a specific day.

It isn’t a necessary step, but I find it helpful to write up all my tasks, then allocate the day of the week I will post them in my planner.  If I don’t get to all of the tasks, at least I can pick from the “top three” tasks for each day and feel I have been productive.

Here’s a sample of that weekly planner page.  You can click on the image to access that printable as well.

Choosing Your Planner

Your planner choice will be  a very personal one ( if you are not using one already) and there are many variables that will contribute to  your decision.  I will go through some of those variables in future posts.  This year I went, I am continuing with my Classic Happy Planner but that doesn’t mean I don’t have additional planners that I would like to share throughout the year.

For your information, since I do provide many of my own Erin Condren printable designs on this blog, I wanted to show you a sample layout for last year’s  “new” redesigned Erin Condren interior pages.   Due to copyright issues, this is just a similar design  of Erin Condren’s “new” redesigned layout but not an exact one.  This gives you an idea  of how one of your pages might be laid out as you list your tasks.  I’ve taken some of the tasks from a winter bucket list, I previously provided.

In addition, I have a board on Pinterest you might want to follow that has several ideas by  other designers for Home Office Planning , stationery and Erin Condren Life Planner, Happy Planner, and other types of planner needs.  You can view that board here, Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

Facts about the Annual Calendar freebie:

  • These free printables were designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  •  File size: 816KB & 1 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.
  • Printing tip:   I would adjust the printing quality on your printer in order that you do not get an excessive amount of ink saturation.  Just a tip, if you plan to use regular office paper as this freebie is at 300 dpi and you may need to adjust as you print.
  • Color scheme: black, white, dark grey

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello peeps!    Today, I am releasing a school themed mini flash cards  printables because it’s that Back to School time of the year! What better way to get prepared and organized for the school year but with “new” flash cards?  They are in light pastels and I also have even included plain white cards as well. Grab one or all, it’s really up to you and your study needs.

These functional flash cards  are sized to fit in your backpack or purse and/or pencil pouch and you can keep them together with a book ring.  These are really small at 1.5″ by 2.5″ , but you can reduce the printable when you go to print in order to adjust the flash card’s size to fit the size you desire. Keep in mind some distortion may occur using this method.

Also, if you are new to this site, I wanted to let you know  that I have a board on Pinterest  that  you might want to follow that has several pins (ideas) by other planner designers, stationery, home office decor,  office supplies and planner freebies that are mostly planner related, you can view that and/or follow here,  Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

There are  more than 20+ mini flash cards or  elements total in today’s release.     As always, these  elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting but these were made specifically as study aids.

Note**Please see my Terms of Use below before downloading if you have not to been to this site before.**

Materials Needed:

  • White Cardstock
  • Hole punch either 1/4″ or 1/8″
  • Book rings, either 1″ or 1.5″
  • Printer or access to a printer,  Staples or Office Depot (in the US) has self service printing available,  as well.

How to Use this “Mini Flash Cards” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your mini flash cards and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software.

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your flash cards and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The  time consuming way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers.  You will need to cut carefully around the corners or use a corner rounder punch.

Facts about the freebie:

  • One  set of  school themed planner stickers on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg file.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.  However, the downloads are high resolution digitals.
  • Color scheme:  pastel

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Some things you should know before downloading:

pink doodled washi on desktop

Hey planner peeps, with Mother’s Day around the corner,  I have released this  pink girly style washi printable for you!  I wanted to help you out  with this doodled washi printable to jump start  your bullet journaling, art or junk  journaling,  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s freebie! This time I provided two sizes of the same desig for you.  The washi on the letter (US) size printable is approximately 3/4″ tall and the washi on the half letter (US) size is approximately 3/8″ tall.

I love, love washi.  So, I  have wanted to create washi with  color themes  and designs that I like and that you might enjoy as well.  You can use this washi for either scrapbooking, art journaling, smashbooks and other paper crafting uses.

Today’s freebie was created from a variety of doodled images and vector patterns.  I also added a few post its on the half letter size because I thought it would coordinate well.

If you visit my blog often, you know by now that I am always experimenting with different patterns and this happens to be my latest washi freebie!  Hope you like the doodled designs – there are a variety of patterns in this freebie and in two sizes-letter size and half letter size.

Facts about the Doodled Girly Style Washi Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 12 elements or washi strips and all the  patterns are different.   The washi on the the letter size is approximately 3/4″ wide, basically  your standard washi size.   As always, they can either be used for journaling in your junk journals, art journaling projects or other types of memory keeping.

This second free printable has 14 elements on an 5 1/2″ by 8″ jpg file.  I designed  it so that it can be used on either a Cricut digital Cutter or Sihouette Portrait.  The download file size is approximately 2 MB each.

The materials I used were  300 dpi vector doodles purchased from other designers and some doodle designs are my own in three different pink hues.

How to Use this “Doodled Girly Style Washi” Printable:

Use these washi stickers for your planners, junk journals, as an envelope wrapper and other fun ideas.  Let your creativity guide you!

There are several ways you can cut this printable to create your washi stickers and I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter, (i.e. Cricut Explore)  you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software. If you own the Silhouette Cameo,  you can double the image on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper on a landscape setting as the sticker sheet is 5.5 x 8”.  This will keep you from wasting paper.

2) Also another method, would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most labor intensive way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  In addition, don’t forget a paper trimmer which helps with straight cuts. For hand cutting, a new tool I highly recommend is the Gyro-tool.  It’s rotating blade allows you to cut around curvy shapes and is especially good around script stickers.  Reader Tip:  Cut the stickers while watching TV!

Thanks for Your Social Media Repins

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.  Thank you for your pins on Pinterest, Instagram,  as well as a few Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
