spring themed pocket journaling cards

Hello peeps !  Today,  I decided to release this   spring themed pocket journaling printables freebie to help you out with this month’s last minute (or future) pocket journaling or paper crafting.

This time I am using one of my fresh and bright color palette, a bright and soft yellow, and green color palette!

I often get some of my graphics from Creative Fabrica, so don’t forget to check out their vintage digitals and specials. I get many of my script fonts from this popular site.

Also,  I also have recently been using  another of my current favorite sites, Rawpixel.  I love their vintage selection and lovely AI produced vintage pngs from popular artists.  Don’t forget to sign up using my link for free images (up to three a day and many more public domain images – they have changed their policy) when you sign up for an account.

I am excited to provide you with this slightly modern set of pocket cards which I designed myself from scratch.  What I am really excited about is that I have now subscribed to the full Photoshop CC Suite which has been a dream.  I am still learning the tools but I think this set wasn’t too bad for a person new to Adobe Illustrator tools, they are different from Photoshop CC!  I hope you like them.

As always, I thought I would mention that  I have a board on Pinterest  that  you might want to follow that has several ideas by other designers for project life freebies and techniques, you can view that here, DIY Crafts | Project Life Freebies, Tips & Techniques.

And for my planner board, you might try Home Office | Planners and Stationery Favs.  You might find something that will interest you!  Thanks to all of you who have already taken the time to follow this board!

Well, on to the  freebie, there are two printables.  As always, these journaling cards and elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting.  You can also use them for your planners and personal organizers,  if applicable.

Facts about the  Spring Green  freebie:

  • Assorted large pocket/title cards and labels on  8 1/2″ x 11″ pdf file
  • Variety of Spring Green pocket cards and  8 1/2″ x 11″ pdf file
  • File size –  Approx. 200 KB  and 300KB
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.
  • Color scheme: white, yellow, light green

Terms of Use:

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Some things you should know before downloading:

Hello peeps!  Today,  I am happy to  provide February’s  “vintage inspired” pocket scrapbooking mini calendars!  I  hope you are all on track  for all planner, junk journaling activities and diy projects as we look forward to Valentine’s Day, already!

Thanks for all your support and positive feedback throughout last year.  I really appreciate all of you who have visited this blog and also checked out Creative Fabrica and Rawpixel and signed up for their design graphics and vintage freebies!

In the past, many of the  gorgeous photographs I use for these freebies are from talented photographers who post their photos on Unsplash, one of my favorite freebie  sites for gorgeous, professional  and free pics.  The rest of the template design is mine.

I also like to choose photos from another  of my favorite design sites, Rawpixel, which has a great assortment of public domain vintage images!   You can sign up and receive a series of free images per week and five free downloads per day!  It’s a great resource for your scrapbooking, planner and vintage junk journaling activities.

This year I have changed the fonts for this layout to keep within the vintage theme or aesthetic.  I hope you like the mini calendars that I have created.

These mini calendars are the size of pocket scrapbooking journaling cards (3″ x 4″) , so they are small enough to pop into your A5 planners, if you choose.  I hope you like them!

Mini Calendar Printing Tips

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution  300 ppi image  download.

[For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium 4″ x 6″ photo paper set on Landscape for the best layout and maintain the aspect ratio so that there is no distortion in your printout.]

The finished items should be able to fit your standard  3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking pages or traveler’s journal  plastic pocket photo inserts or Becky Higgins project life planner pages.  Just thought I would mention again, since not all blog visitors are familiar with this type of crafting.

These inserts are different from your standard clear pocket and business card inserts for the traveler’s notebook.

Enjoy! 🙂
