Free Father’s Day Vintage Gift Envelope Printables

men's clothing items on table

Hello, blog followers and visitors!  Today’s release is in honor of all the fathers and Papa’s to be.  Since Father’s Day is around the corner, I wanted to release these vintage gift envelopes for that last minute little gift (of money?) for your favorite guy.

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 3 different patterns on the envelopes I have provided. They were selected because they reminded me of different men in my life (no this is not a Hollywood tell all ), I was thinking of schematics because they remind me of my brother when he was in college studying for his architect degree.   He had all the pencils, compasses, rulers, brushes etc. on his drafting desk as he completed his homework, as his little sister I got to  earn a little money cleaning up his desk for him. (Lol)

In any case, architectural blueprints were the items  I had to neatly roll up and put away for him at the end of his study session.  So, I thought it was appropriate to provide you with schematics drawings and one pattern that looks a little like a blueprint.

The other pattern reminds me of my grandfather ( born in 1898) who wore a hat (a fedora) every time he went outvintage man's hat in public  until he passed away many years ago.  I remember he also used to shave with a shaving brush and soap everyday and never changed his routine.  So, there is a little insight into my personal story and the inspiration behind the designs. In any case, I wish you all a Happy Father’s Day!   I hope you like these printables! ( Drop me a comment of your favorite moment with your Dad, if you have the time.)

Although these vintage gift envelopes are meant for gifting, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of paper crafts.

Facts about the Vintage Gift Envelopes freebie:

  • This free printable has  gift envelopes on three 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg files.
  • The file sizes are 2.8MB, 3.1 MB and 1.8MB
  • Size of folded envelope is approximately 4.1/2″ by 2 1/4″ (ideal for money or gift card)
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.  I used 300 dpi images for the roses.
  • Color scheme: black, red, blue

Materials and Supplies

  • White cardstock (ideally print on cardstock so that you can get a crisp fold on the tabs)
  • Scissors or digital cutter

*Printing tip:  Make sure your ink in your printer is at a reasonable level before printing.  Keep the aspect ratio or print size at 8 1/2 by 11″.

Thank you for all your Pinterest pins and other social media sharing…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links as well Instagram mentions.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs on your blogs and that has contributed to the increased traffic.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

April Showers Planner Stickers Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello peeps and blog followers!  It’s Tuesday and  I hope you had a great Easter weekend with your loved ones.  I have another violet and spring green themed Erin Condren planner stickers set for you today.  This time with florals, checks or gingham and umbrellas in the graphics.

I used my previous Erin Condren layout (created in Silhouette Studio Design) on a Windows 10 laptop but now I am designing and changing my design templates on my Macbook Pro.

I have had this laptop for two months now and there are so many pros that I am thrilled about!  However, it has taken some time transferring and converting files from my Windows laptop to this one.  So, on to today’s freebie.

Planner Sticker Specs

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the Erin Condren Planner   (vertical) or similar Week At A Glance Planners  or other horizontal weekly planners such as the Filofax.

The functional planner stickers, especially the full box stickers,  are sized to fit  within the vertical columns and boxes specifically for the Erin Condren. The full boxes are 1.5″ by 1.9″ and so is the length of the checklist flags.

However, please keep in mind, you can reduce the printable when you go to print in order to adjust the stickers’ size to fit your specific planner. (Some distortion may occur using this method.)

Color Theme

Here’s the color theme used for these planner stickers…

Also, if you are new to this site, I wanted to let you know that I have a board on Pinterest that you might want to follow that has several pins (ideas) by other planner designers, stationery, home office decor, office supplies and planner freebies pins that are mostly planner related.  You can view that board and/or follow here, Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

There are 130+ planner stickers or elements total in today’s release. As always, these stickers and elements can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting but these were made specifically for you Happy Planner and Erin Condren fans.

Note**Please see my Terms of Use below before downloading if you have not to been to this site before.**

How to Use this Erin Condren Planner Stickers Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter, (i.e. Cricut Explore)  you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software.

2) Also another method, would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most time consuming way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  In addition, don’t forget a paper trimmer which helps with the straight cuts. You should probably use punches for the circle stickers. I try to design the circle stickers at standard punch sizes.  For hand cutting, a new tool I highly recommend is the Gyro-tool.  It’s rotating blade allows you to cut around curvy shapes and is especially good around script stickers

Facts about the April Showers themed freebie:

*A set of 130+ planner stickers on two  8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg files.

*These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color. The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.
*Color scheme:  light green, light violet, medium purple

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.) If you have been here before, you know the drill. If not, you might want to read the quick TOU below before you access the printable.

Food Gift Tags – Pastel Foodie Gift Tags Printable

This post may contain affiliate links.  See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hey planner peeps and blog followers it’s Friday and I hope you are having a great day!  I thought I would help you out with your party and  last minute food gift wrapping by providing you with a new gift tag printable similar to one that I had released a few months ago.

This printable is a set of gift tags or labels; depending on how you want to use them, with a fun pastel digi print and a rustic font sentiment.  Great for last minute food gifts or hostess gifts, if you prefer.  In addition, I added two png file word phrases made with the cutest sprint font.  They are also available for your crafting use!

Easter Holiday Specials

I also wanted to let you know, as it is the Easter holiday weekend there will be several holiday sales on many diy craft and design resources.  I just wanted to share that this weekend ( April 2 thru April 6) Creative Fabrica is having a promo sale for design resources purchased a la carte and subscriptions that start at $1 for the first month and continue at $19.00 for the remainder of your subscription (rather than $29.00). This is an awesome deal and I wanted to share this just in case, you might be interested. There will be additional deals and offers throughout this sale! (This is an affiliate link.)

Here’s a previous Christmas gift tag  printable  that I designed  in the past:

Free Printable -12 Days of Christmas Gift Tags

I applied one of the food labels on a canister as a mockup of what it might look like on some type of container.  However, I was thinking you can probably print these out on white sticker paper and attach a label/stickers on cellophane.  Use your imagination!

Also, if you are new to this site, I wanted to let you know  that I have a board on Pinterest  that  you might want to follow that has several pins (ideas) by other planner designers, stationery, home office decor,  office supplies and planner freebies that are mostly planner related, you can view that and/or follow here,  Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

How to Use this “Gift Tags” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your gift tags.   I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Portrait or a Silhouette Cameo or other digital cutter you can cut out the gift tags  using their designer software.  There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the Silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the gift tags or papercrafts printable  on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer or gyro tool to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Reader Tip:  Cut out with scissors while watching TV!
  3.  If you don’t want to use these cups as tags, you can always print the file on white sticker paper and use them as stickers or labels on the side of your packages or to seal your wrapping or tissue paper.

Materials and Supplies

*White Cardstock

*Hole punch (preferably 1/8″ inch)

*Silver or gold metallic stretch cord or baker’s twine

*Scissors

Facts about the freebie:

  • A set of  8 gift tags on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ pdf file.  Each tag is approximately 3″ by 2″.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.
  • Color scheme:  pastels
  • As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
