Hey there! As you can see, today’s freebie ( a set of vintage Christmas junk journaling printables) was created on Adobe Photoshop CC for your Christmas junk journaling projects or other types of paper crafting.
I actually had created the basic foundation for this idea a few months ago, and wanted to get an authentic vintage style feel and I am happy to provide this to you for this season. Happy Crafting!
Popular Graphic Sites
I really appreciate all of you who have visited this blog and also checked out Creative Fabrica and Rawpixel and signed up for their design graphics and vintage freebies! Your generous support helps me with providing additional freebies. Since I started recommending both of these sites, they are both incorporating powerful AI tools that makes any kind of designing and crafting much easier and fun, so check them out if you so choose.
In addition, another one of my favorite design sites, Rawpixel, has a great assortment of public domain vintage images! Create a free account using my link, if you like.
And for a slew of great vintage and whimsical fonts and lots of crafting svgs, (including new AI tools) don’t forget to try Creative Fabrica. I have a subscription and use a lot of their graphic resources for my designs.
Design Inspiration
The inspiration for these printables came from Christmas postcards. I sourced many of these images from Rawpixel. They have a very large assortment of high res public domain images.
As for the details about the freebie, there are three freebies in all. The journaling cards measure approximately 3″ x 4″ and the Christmas junk journaling page is approximately US letter size ( 8 1/2 by 11″). I also added large tags to this release. These are approximate measurements for these elements.
Although these products were made specifically as junk journal or for pocket scrapbooking, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, December Dailies, art journals or other types of memory keeping.
Facts about the vintage Christmas freebie:
- There are three free printables; three US letter jpeg file
- These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
- Printing tip: I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte to use as die cuts or on white sticker paper to use the labels as stickers.
- Color theme: green, ivory, red, black, white

Most of my elements are made from commercial use, public domain pictures and scanned vintage ephemera sources; however. if any designer feels their copyright has been infringed upon the freebie will promptly be removed and the freebie will no longer be made available. Designers vary in their restrictions for their terms of use (even for CU items), so although I try to be scrupulous, I may miss some.
