 Today, I am releasing a new design that I have been working on: a set of Retro or vintage journaling spots printables.    I used these vintage images by special permission to create these journaling spots for your spring and Easter paper crafting.

They are 1.75″ pastel circles with a pastel grid interior. 

I really had a lot of fun  designing these elements even though getting the authentic feel and worn look for these vintage images is a challenge.  I’m still working on perfecting these images to make them look even more realistic.

Design Inspiration

I developed the inspiration for these printables  because I have been looking on Etsy for a specific style of  vintage items and they are hard to come by in a variety of colors.  As for the details about the freebie, there are three jpegs in all.  The elements are all designed and saved  as jpeg files.   These are approximate measurements for these elements.

Although these tags were made specifically as journal spots, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the vintage  freebie:

• There are two free printables;  two US Half letter jpeg files
• These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
• Printing tip:   I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte to use as die cuts or  use white sticker paper to use  as stickers.
• Color theme: pastel, yellow, pink, light blue
