desk, communication,keyboard

I know its freezing weather in many homes and workplaces around the country, so I am sincerely wishing you warmth and a happy hearth in these cold days ahead.  I can’t really say what was the motivation or inspiration for the journaling cards freebie for today but perhaps it’s anticipating the upcoming Valentine holiday.

So, I created a freebie in my favorite black, red and white color scheme with a variety of hearts scattered about, in some cases literally and it coordinates with some of my previous freebie sets.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 16 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the Journaling Elements freebie:

  • This free printable has 16 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is less than 1.88 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: black, red, white, grey

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.  I have been busy this month with holiday celebrations and posting less often; but even so, you all made December a record month!  Thank you!  again and again.

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs and your blogs and have contributed to the increased traffic.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!  You guys and gals often find things I don’t often run into and it just serves to expand and generate new ideas.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

vintage postcard

Happy New Year!…I found this beautiful vintage postcard dated 1901 on Flickr and just wanted to share it with you to wish you Prosperity and Good Health for the New Year!

It just seems even as one is celebrating and wrapping up the holiday hoopla what immediately comes to mind is looking forward to all the tools you need to handle all the planning and organization for this year.

So, I designed this organization freebie in order to get a bird’s eye view of the year all on one page and decorated it with a variety of doodled flowers. The font for the calendar is Arial, the week begins on Sunday and all weekends are in light grey.

So, this will be this blog’s official first freebie for 2014!  I also found a picture that had a list of lists (on Pinterest, of course)  that I have included here just as a reminder to spur all the ideas you will probably write into your individual planners.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable was designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is less than 1 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.
  • Printing tip:   I would adjust the printing quality on your printer in order that you do not get an excessive amount of ink saturation if you plan to use regular office paper as this freebie is at 300 dpi.
  • Color scheme: black, white, light grey

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I have not as yet completed all the traffic numbers from last year but the initial information looks really good.  I can’t say it enough times…Thank you!

I’d also like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love” .   I know you don’t always have time to leave a comment because you are busy, so I really appreciate it when blog visitors take the time to either like or comment.

Thank you for your single pins and for some of you,  multiple pins of my various designs on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

Terms of Use

New Year’s Journaling Elements – Free Printable

10, 9, 8… 7, 6, 5…Well, we are definitely into the countdown as the year 2013  comes to an end and we quickly transition into 2014.  So, I wanted to design a few project life New Year’s  journaling elements that you can use as a review for this year.  I hope it has been great!  I used a blue and grey color scheme with these elements because I’m still thinking about winter and cool colors and I still have the “snow falling” activated on this blog.

However, here in Southern California it has been lovely warm weather for the past week!  Go figure.  In any case, I have been trying to concentrate on plans for new blog posts for the coming year so we’ll see what we can provide for your crafting needs. Have a Happy New Year!

As for the details about the freebie, there are 14 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the freebie:
