Christmas Kraft Journaling Elements – Free Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

On the tenth day of Christmas… welcome back to project life or pocketbook journaling card freebie’s.  I have been concentrating on a variety of gift tags and I had not yet included a December or Christmas themed project life freebie.  It really is crunch time and I am having to make quick decisions on which remaining designs I want to create on my “inspiration” list.  And can you imagine, this is  already the 10th day of December and the 50th week of 2013!  My Christmas Kraft II gift tags have been really popular, so I tried to include a few Christmas kraft journaling elements from the set in this project life freebie.  I hope you like them! 🙂

As for the details about the freebie, there are 17 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″), three  1.5″ circle labels, 5  one inch circle labels and a few more elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.)
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 17 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is 7.38 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted. I have included a couple of photo-realistic textures in the paper and brown kraft texture.
  • Color scheme: red, white, brown kraft, cream

Deck the halls with boughs of holly….Fa la la la la la la la…As you can see with today’s freebie,  I have designed  Christmas ornaments gift tags ready for you to “deck-orate” your gifts or December daily books, etc.

The tags average about 4 to 5 inches in size. Hopefully, you will find other uses for these tags for many other projects as well.   I’m thinking smashbooks, art journals, advent calendars, to name a few.  I hope you like them.:)

You will be seeing a few more Christmas freebies along this color scheme, but I will be mixing it up since I love  to use different color schemes with holiday decorating.  Well, what I mean is that  I vary or rotate color schemes every year from neutrals (black, white, silver), shabby chic (pink & turquoise), silver, white & blue and green & gold to name a few. Hopefully, I will be able to provide or design several of the ideas that I have written on my design inspiration list.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable was designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file with 7 elements.
  • The file size is  at 1.02 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. You might need an x-acto knife to cut around the ornament holder.
  • Printing tip:  Print on heavy white cardstock, matte or plain.
  • Color scheme: red, white, black, grey

Free Printable Download – Winter Wonderland Gift Tags

Baby, it’s cold outside….As you can see with today’s freebie, it’s beginning to get very chilly in normally sunny Southern California and  I might add all across the United States.   Brrrrr.  But as cold as it is, the wintry weather was the inspiration for my gift tags freebie today as well as the photo of the polar bear below.

The white snow lays such a beautiful, white blanket over all nature and it’s just so pretty even though it can be dangerous and treacherous weather for many.

As for the freebie, I just love polar bears and elks  (or reindeer), too.  You  probably have already seen my deer kraft gift tags and labels and I just wanted to design some gift tags in this icy blue and white color scheme.

I love snowflakes, stars and starry skies so all these elements went into these tags.   The tags are approximately 3″ x 2.5″ and the circle labels are about 1.5″ in diameter.  A lot of the words on the tags and labels  were inspired by the song “Winter Wonderland”.  I hope you like them. 🙂

As mentioned before, you will be seeing a few more Christmas freebies along this color scheme, but I will be mixing it up since I love  to use different color schemes with holiday decorating.

Well, what I mean is that  I vary or rotate color schemes every year from neutrals (black, white, silver), shabby chic (pink & turquoise), silver, white & blue and green & gold to name a few.  And I am anxious to try different ideas, items that I have written down on my inspiration “idea” list.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable was designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size less than 1 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.
  • Printing tip:  Print on heavy white cardstock, matte or plain.
  • Color scheme: icy blue, white
