Vintage Office Supply 2 Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello peeps…I hope your week has been  great and that you will have a chance to craft, write or do some other relaxing hobby with the upcoming weekend.

Today’s freebie is a follow-up of a previous vintage-office-supply related project life journaling cards  and  elements freebie I had posted a few months ago.

I have a board on Pinterest dedicated to  vintage and retro office decor and office supplies, so check it out when you can. The color scheme for today’s freebie is one of my favorites — a variety of neutrals in tan, beige, ivory and black.

I was inspired by a beautiful office and craft storage organization pin that I saw on Pinterest.  I really loved the organization, the color scheme and of course, the collectible vintage typewriter and vintage  clocks. So, I scouted Etsy and other online shops to get images from vintage office supply advertising to create these journaling elements.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 20 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards, and several elements as well.   As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 20 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is  2.27 MB in size.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.  Although I try to keep the shapes simple, so that you can cut them out easily with a good pair of scissors, I couldn’t resist the fancy shape chalkboard-like number tags.  You might just need a crafting or x-acto knife to get around the edges.

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.  Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as a few Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links. My traffic keeps increasing from visitors from all over the world, thank goodness for Google translate!

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

How to Use this ” Vintage Office Supply” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software.
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.

Spring Fling Journaling Cards – Free Printable

Hello…hopefully, it’s getting a little warmer in some areas of the country.  Wow, what a crazy winter it has been.  And in complete contrast to the rest of the country, it’s really warming up  in Southern California (not so good since we are undergoing a drought and we need a little rain) so, I already have spring in mind and sporting short sleeve tops.

Today’s journaling cards freebie has a slightly different color scheme, I threw in a dark blue and turquoise with hot pink and light pink.  Just like the extreme weather,  I really like the contrast…it’s not quite spring but not quite winter and I am already including flowers.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 20 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping. So many of this blog[‘s readers keep coming up with interesting uses for these elements.  Hope you like them. 🙂

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 20  elements including  journaling cards on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is less than 2.15 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme:hot pink, light pink, dark blue, turquoise

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.  Thanks for your patience with the sporadic blog posting of the past month or so.

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs on your blogs and that has contributed to the increased traffic.

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.)

Valentine Kraft Gift Tags – Free Printable

Hello! I just love Valentine’s Day.  I have been going crazy on Pinterest pinning all the beautiful Valentine DIY crafts as well as delicious, mouthwatering recipes.  So, I got busy with my next installment of Valentine kraft gift tags for your use.  I’m not quite sure what category they fall in but they have a little bit of romantic and a little vintage.  I just hope you like them!

As you can see with today’s freebie,  I designed tags with a photo-realistic background and hearts a plenty.  I loved designing these gift tags.  The tags average about 3 1/2″ inches by 2 1/2″  inches wide.

The circle tags are about 1 3/4″ inches in diameter.  Print them, cut them out and punch a 1/2″ hole to use as a gift tag.   Hopefully, you will find other uses for these tags for many other projects as well.   I’m thinking smashbooks, art journals, scrapbooking projects  to name a few.

Facts about the Valentine Kraft Tags freebie:

  • This free printable was designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file with 10 elements.
  • The file size is pretty large at  9.76 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.  The kraft texture is photo realistic.
  • Printing tip:  Print on heavy white cardstock, matte or plain.
  • Color scheme: Variations of pink and white, light green

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I am so grateful for your interest and pinning activity.    I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love” .   I know you don’t always have time to leave a comment because you are busy, so I really appreciate it when blog visitors take the time to either like or comment.  I have been getting pretty busy with other obligations myself and can’t always reply to your comments. I do read them all though!

Thank you for your single pins and for some of you,  multiple pins of my various designs on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill and all this extra content might be a little tiresome (sorry, but we want newcomers to get a hang of what needs to be done to access their freebie!).  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
