Hello blog followers and visitors!  It’s the first day of July, today,   I just wanted to provide July’s pocket scrapbooking mini calendars!  .  I  hope you are on track  for all planner, junk journaling activities  and diy projects as we jump feet first into the official summer season!   June was the month when many planner companies are releasing their mid-year calendars and planners!  If you haven’t purchased your planner, you can choose from a great selection of  Classic Happy Planners on Amazon, don’t forget to note that July 11th and 12th is Amazon Prime Day!

Today, I grabbed these  gorgeous photographs from another one of my fav design resources websites, Vecteezy.  I usually get vector images here; however, they are upgrading their photo selections as well.  The rest of the template design is mine.  This time I chose photos with the cutest little pups ever and some cupcakes to celebrate the Fourth of July!

These mini calendars are the size of pocket scrapbooking journaling cards (3″ x 4″) , so they are small enough to pop into your A5 planners, if you choose.  I hope you like them!

Materials and Supplies

My favorite paper for printing out these  pocket scrapbooking  mini calendars’ is   EPSON Ultra Premium Presentation Paper – Matte;  however, you might like the glossy finish.

Terms of Use:

As usual these freebies are free for personal,  non-commercial use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Some things you should know before downloading:

* Vintage Glam Studio printables are for PERSONAL USE ONLY.
*You may not re-sell, redistribute, or claim the original or derivative designs as your own.
*Please do not remove the watermark or modify the design in any way other than for your own personal use.
*If you post this on the internet, please give credit to Vintage Glam Studio & link back to my blog (www.vintageglamstudio.com), so others can obtain the resources.  Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook are great social media sharing platforms, it’s the  sharing without a link back that can be a problem.

Mini Calendar Printing Tips

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution  300 ppi image  download.

[For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium 4″ x 6″ photo paper set on Landscape for the best layout and maintain the aspect ratio so that there is no distortion in your printout.]

Try using a slide cutter to cut the pictures accurately; however, a good pair of scissors will do the trick. The finished items should be able to fit your standard  3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking pages or traveler’s journal  plastic pocket photo inserts or Becky Higgins project life planner pages.  Just thought I would mention again, since not all blog visitors are familiar with this type of crafting.

These inserts are different from your standard clear pocket and business card inserts for the traveler’s notebook.

Enjoy! 🙂

Free Fourth of July Party Invitation

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello peeps…I hope you are starting your weekend off great  and that you’ll have plenty of time for crafting and other happy pursuits.  Since Fourth of July is around the corner,  I thought you might like this  party invitation and corresponding digital paper set.

With so many summer parties  and  outdoor activities coming up soon, I thought I would release something another invite. While I have previously released several gift tags, and a greeting card, I wanted to provide these fun party invitations as a new blog project.   I  used watercolor clip art and gold glitter textures for this freebie.  I had loads of fun designing the brushstroke paper.

Facts About the Party Invitations

As for the details about the freebie, this printable is meant to create one party invitation that measures approximately 5″ wide by 7″ tall.   You will print this out on a  8 1/2″ by 11″ white cardstock and using a ruler measure out the 5″ by 7″ final card product .  Use the crop marks on the pdf printable as guides to cut out your invitations.  Depending on the type of printer you own, you can print this out at home or take the file to a nearby Staples or Office Depot and have them printed out for a fee.   It all depends on the quality of results you want for your final product. The pdf file is 1.7 MB and the digital paper zip file is 13 MB.

Note: The design was laid out on a vertical printer orientation, so please remember to pay attention to  your printer’s default presets when you send to print.  Most modern printers’ software will pick this up without making any changes but keep this in mind.

Materials and Supplies

Some of the supplies are optional, the additional supplies are mentioned in case you want your finished product to be a little crisper.

  • White cardstock
  • Scissors or slide cutter
  • Silhouette Digital Cutter or Cricut, there  are mostly straight cuts, so your digital cutter (if you own one) is not necessary.
  • Ruler, to measure the final greeting card and set up straight cuts, if using scissors.

Celebrate Word Art – Free Digital Element

The holiday weekend is rolling in… and if you are looking for a bright red and sparkly word element for your  Fourth of July digital or hybrid scrapbooking , you just might like these.

I hope you have a happy and safe  Fourth of July with your loved ones.

Click on the picture below for the previous post that will take you to the download link.

A note about the images:

*All images are made at 300 dpi so the digital files will usually be very large digital files.

*Most will be .png files (transparent backgrounds) so that you can layer them on to your backgrounds or photos.

*Most elements will not include a drop shadow, as I will leave that up to you to add one if you like.

*I will be providing these elements with the assumption that you know how to use either Photoshop Elements, the open source photo editing program GIMP, Photoshop, or other photo editing software.  While I would like to offer support for these digital files, this is currently just a hobby and not my full time business.

*Most of my elements will be made from Commercial use or public domain sources, however if any designer feels their copyright has been infringed upon the freebie will promptly be removed and the freebie will no longer be available.  (I try to be scrupulous about what resources I use, but I may miss some.)

Please credit Vintage Glam Studio if you repost to another site. Pins are appreciated.:)

The word art is stored on an external storage site. To access the file, click on the image and right-click and “Save As” on Microsoft Windows.
