Monthly calender printables on desktop

Hello peeps!  Today,  I have released a set of monthly  calendars for May, so that I could share my new digital papers that I recently released in some actual projects.  Some are time sensitive and others can be used throughout the year.

You’ll have three choices to choose from, you can grab one or all according to your needs:

1) a US Letter full page May monthly  calendar which is set up with a Sun-through-Sat week and/or

2) a 2 per page A5 May  monthly calendar that is set up with a  Sun-through-Sat week  and fits notebooks that fit half letter US pag ( 5.5″ by 8.5″)

3) a pocket card  (3″ x 4″) May  monthly calendar that is set up with a  Sun-through-Sat week  and

This was specifically created for those of you who like to use standard US letter filler paper notebooks ; however, of course, it can be used as a reference for project life fans as well as regular personal and work planning.

Ideally, you can use your calendar by  referring to  each week during your planning time and planning out your weekly to do’s.  You might have developed the habit of taking at least 20 minutes every Sunday evening to view the week’s upcoming tasks and to do’s on your to-do list for the week.

If not, now’s the time to develop that habit for this year especially if “being more productive”  or “using my time wisely” was one  one of your New Year’s resolutions!  We are now approaching the half way mark.

Using your Monthly  Calendar

I designed this organization/planner freebie in order to get a bird’s eye view of the month all on one page and decorated it with the paper I recently designed. I used a variety of fonts for this layout and decided and had been working on this template for some time!  I purchased these fonts from one of my go-to design and graphic sites Creative Fabrica.

The weekly format is Sunday through Saturday and the numbers and some lines are light grey.  You can reduce the printable in order to fit most planners,  if you would like to use them as an insert.  I used a sans serif font for the calendar layout.

You can use the calendar to refer to as you plan your week or for other purposes.

Planning Your Week

I also designed the following printable to use as a brain dump to provide you a “worksheet” to gather or place all your tasks for the upcoming week.  It’s sort of a pre-planning sheet or a place to list all your “to do’s” and then commit them to a specific day.

It isn’t a necessary step, but I find it helpful to write up all my tasks, then allocate the day of the week I will post them in my planner.  If I don’t get to all of the tasks, at least I can pick from the “top three” tasks for each day and feel I have been productive.

Here’s a sample of that weekly planner page.  You can click on the image to access that printable as well.  It is available in three soft pastel colors.

In addition, I have a board on Pinterest you might want to follow that has several ideas by  other designers for Home Office Planning , stationery and Erin Condren Life Planner, Happy Planner, and other types of planner needs.  You can view that board here, Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

Facts about the Monthly Calendar freebie:

  • These free printables were designed on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg and pdf file.
  •  File size: Under 1 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.
  • Printing tip:   I would adjust the printing quality on your printer in order that you do not get an excessive amount of ink saturation.  Just a tip, if you plan to use regular office paper as this freebie is at 300 dpi and you may need to adjust as you print.
  • Color scheme: black, white, dark grey

black and white floral paper on desktop

Hello peeps!  It’s mid-May and I wanted to provide this black and white floral  digital paper  for you.  Today, I am providing a set of seamless  gorgeous, black and white floral digital papers for your paper crafting pleasure.

I designed about 85% of the background vector graphics  and other elements in these papers, two of the papers I designed in Adobe Illustrator CC and the other two in Photoshop CC.  Each software program has its own set of challenges, and I’m working to get better at both of them.

This is a whole new fun part of designing that I am currently exploring, as I get a lot more familiar with  using Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator (paid subscription) for designing digital paper and patterns.  I had some portions of this set pre-designed, as I am always working on new ideas and create partial files of the idea I intended.

Facts about the Black and White Floral Digital Paper

This is my seventh digital paper set of this type, that I have provided.  I received some great feedback to my last set, so, I am including this one as well.

This time I am adding a couple of new papers that I have been able to figure out how to design, and make them seamless as well– two challenging tasks when designing digital paper.

The picture above is the preview of the paper at 72 dpi, however the original is located on my Google Drive account and the file size for each file is  approximately  2.1 to 3 MB.

This set of digital papers were designed by me and  were designed  as  8″ x 8″  ( 2400 px by 2400 px), 300 dpi seamless digital papers using several  Photoshop CC brushes, actions and overlays.  There are four 8″ x 8″ jpeg files are set up for individual download.

If you are using them digitally, then of course, printer paper is not a concern.

A Few  Things to Note…

I plan to release a few more of my designs from time to time in the future.   I am still working on the coordinating graphic ( lines, dots, chevron) type of paper.  The list of ideas is growing!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)

If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If you are new (no problem), you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

*If you post this on the internet or projects made from this paper, please give credit to Vintage Glam Studio & link back to my blog, so others can obtain the resources.  Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook are great social media sharing platforms, it’s the  sharing without a link back that can be a problem.

Mother's Day mini calendars pocket scrapbooking printables on desktop

Hello peeps!  Today,  I am happy to  provide May’s  “vintage inspired” pocket scrapbooking mini calendars!  Uh-oh, we are already speedily approaching half of the year gone by, hope you are having fun with all your crafting.

Thanks for all your support and positive feedback throughout last year and early this year.  I really appreciate all of you who have visited this blog and also checked out Creative Fabrica and Rawpixel and signed up for their design graphics and vintage freebies!

In the past, many of the  gorgeous photographs I use for these freebies are from talented photographers who post their photos on Unsplash, one of my favorite freebie photo sites for gorgeous, professional  and free pics.  However, recently I have been selecting these photos from  another one  of my favorite design sites, Rawpixel, which has a great assortment of public domain vintage images!   Create a free account using my link, if you so choose.

You can sign up and receive a series of free public domain images per week and three free downloads per day!  It’s a great resource for high quality images for your scrapbooking, planner and vintage junk journaling activities.

This year I have changed the fonts for this layout to keep within the vintage theme or aesthetic.  I hope you like the mini calendars that I have created.

These mini calendars are the size of pocket scrapbooking journaling cards (3″ x 4″) , so they are small enough to pop into your A5 planners, if you choose.  I hope you like them!

Mini Calendar Printing Tips

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution  300 ppi image  download.

[For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium 4″ x 6″ photo paper set on Landscape for the best layout and maintain the aspect ratio so that there is no distortion in your printout.]

The finished items should be able to fit your standard  3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking pages or traveler’s journal  plastic pocket photo inserts or Becky Higgins project life planner pages.  Just thought I would mention again, since not all blog visitors are familiar with this type of crafting.

These inserts are different from your standard clear pocket and business card inserts for the traveler’s notebook.

Enjoy! 🙂
