Free Little Green Bookworm Printables

Hello peeps! Today, I am providing these Little Green Bookworm school printables for a variety of junk journaling projects. With today’s freebie I have provided a printable with bookmarks and a new line of coordinating stickers. I hope you like these designs. I also included these as supplements to a song I wrote and created on SUNO, and I will share the details below. Will all of my posts be related to songs I write in the future? No, not necessarily but I will include them when I can.

I designed these images in Photoshop CC which is an awesome photo editing program and can handle these large image files quite easily. (That’s part of the reason I subscribed to the CC version as soon as I was able.), Photoshop Elements is great as well for handling these files. I also used Chatgpt Plus and Adobe Firefly for the AI generated images.

Your printing results will vary depending on the type of printer you have, as a general rule the higher the dpi that your printer can print, the clearer your images will be. You can always take them to the nearest Office Depot or Staples (here in the US) to get higher quality printing if you are using these for a special journaling project.

I hope this freebie inspires you in your crafting, art journaling, junk journaling and/or scrapbooking time with today’s vintage freebie.

Little Green Bookworm Inspiration

As mentioned above, I have been developing a music channel on SUNO “@vintageglama1” and have published up to 77 songs and it is gathering a few views and if you would like to visit the site I would appreciate it. I have an assortment of genres available from: Retro Pop, Satire, Children’s, Latin to Gospel. But the inspiration for this stationery is from a Children’s song I wrote with AI assistance called “Little Green Bookworm”. I thought the image was so cute it might be nice to have matching printables for your junk journaling or planning. This is a new area for creative work for me and I find it very engaging. If you are not into junk or art journaling, you can also pop these into the pockets of A5 planners or Traveler’s Notebooks if you enjoy a vintage aesthetic, as I do.

Also, I thought I would mention that Creative Fabrica (a great graphic resource site and my go to site for many modern and vintagefonts) is gearing up for another great promotion, they just keep getting better and expanding the kinds of graphics that they are offering and the AI tools in their Studio AI update, so check them out if you choose.

Facts about the Little Green Bookworm Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are two journaling options in this printable available today. You can use these elements for journaling in your traveler’s notebook projects, smashbooks, junk journals or other types of memory keeping. This printables are for diy crafts but, of course, can be used in your journals.

This free printable has two journaling printables. These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp. They can be used in either the Silhouette Cameo or Cricut digital cutters to cut them out or you can use scissors and a slide cutter. You don’t absolutely need a digital cutter to print, cut and assemble your projects but they’re great tools!

Materials Needed

*White cardstock or white sticker paper, depending on your final use. You might consider white matte photo paper as I have included photo images in the journaling cards printable. Other journaling crafters have mentioned Southworth linen/cotton paper for printing journaling papers to get that almost cloth like texture for your paper.

*Vintage inks, such as Tim Holtz Distress Inkpads, to give the edges a worn, tinted or aged look, if that is your preference. This process takes off the white edge (distressed) of the journaling cards and journaling spots, if you are using them for junk journaling and gives the paper a subtle, aged and worn look. With these inks you control the amount of tinting and color you prefer on your edges.

*Scissors or slide cutter

*Photo editing software (i.e., Photoshop Elements) for jpeg files or Silhouette or other digital cutters.

Free File Folder Labels – Back To School Printables

Hello peeps! Today, I am releasing a school themed file folder labels printable because it’s that Back to School time of the year! What better way to get prepared and organized for the school year but with “new” back to school printables? They are in a variety of colors and I designed them in three different label styles. Use one or all, it’s really up to you and your study needs.

These functional file folder labels are sized to fit on your file folders or used for your other labeling needs. These labels are approximately 2.5″ by 1″ in size , but you can reduce the printable when you go to print in order to adjust the file folder label’s size to fit the size you desire.

Keep in mind some distortion may occur using this method.

Materials Needed:

White Sticker Paper (full sheet)
Printer or access to an inkjet printer, Staples or Office Depot (in the US) has self service printing available, as well.

How to Use this “File Folders Labels” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your mini flash cards and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the file folders using their designer software.

2) Also another method, would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your file folder labels and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The time consuming way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting. Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers. You will need to cut carefully around the corners or use a corner rounder punch.

Facts about the freebie:

One set of school themed planner stickers on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg file.
These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color. The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted. However, the downloads are high resolution digitals.

Free Mini Flash Cards – Back To School Printables

Hello peeps! Today, I am releasing a school themed mini flash cards printables because it’s that Back to School time of the year! What better way to get prepared and organized for the school year but with “new” flash cards? They are in light pastels and I also have even included plain white cards as well. Grab one or all, it’s really up to you and your study needs.

These functional flash cards are sized to fit in your backpack or purse and/or pencil pouch and you can keep them together with a book ring. These are really small at 1.5″ by 2.5″ , but you can reduce the printable when you go to print in order to adjust the flash card’s size to fit the size you desire. Keep in mind some distortion may occur using this method.
