Hello peeps, I hope you are all doing fine during  this busy holiday season and are looking forward to a great week…Thanksgiving is only a few days away here in the United States! As you can see, today’s freebie ( a set of vintage Christmas ephemera )  was created on Adobe Photoshop  as reproduction vocabulary  words for your holiday paper crafts and junk journaling.

I really had a lot of fun  designing these elements  and even went back and redesigned the original  vocabulary cards I had designed to make them look a little more authentic.  Hope you like them!

Design Inspiration

I developed the inspiration for these printables  because I have been looking on Ebay for these vintage items and they are hard to come by.  I finally found a set of original cards at a reasonable price and after taking a look at the set I had, I went back to my original design and changed them.

As for the details about the freebie, there is one set in all.  The Christmas vocabulary cards are approximately 3.5″ x 1.5″.  These are approximate measurements for these elements.

Although these tags were made specifically as journal bits, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, junk  journals, December Daily or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the vintage Christmas  freebie:

  • There is  one free printable; US letter jpeg files
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
  • Printing tip:   I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte to use as die cuts or white sticker paper to use the labels/cards  as stickers.
  • Color theme:  ivory,  black
