monthly layout planner stickers

Hello peeps ! Here we are in the month of May and heading towards summer.  I thought this lovely floral digital paper was a great choice for  this month’s monthly layout in your Classic Happy Planner.

Regardless of the graphics used, the good thing is that there is an undated option, so that you can use the planner stickers for another month if you so choose.  I used this set of  cute balloon and floral  digital paper  from Creative Fabrica for today’s blog post freebie.  I use a lot of graphics from this site and I’d like to mention in the past few months, they have upgraded their subscription as they work hard to attract great and well known  graphic designers, don’t forget to check them out!

Monthly Layout Planner Stickers Specs

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the Classic Happy Planner  by Mambi or similar Week At A Glance Planners  or other weekly planners such as the  Plum Paper Planner that have wider boxes for the monthly spread.

The functional planner stickers, especially the box stickers,  are sized to fit  within the monthly calendar boxes specifically for the monthly spread of the Classic Happy Planner.

However, there are several resizing instructions on Pinterest on what percent to print this printable  in order to resize the printable for personal planners with smaller dimensions.

There are  more than 90+ planner stickers or  elements total in today’s release.    As always, these stickers and elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and paper crafting but these were made specifically for you Happy  Planner and Filofax fans.

How to Use this “ Monthly Layout Stickers” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter ( i.e. Cricut Explore), you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software.  ( I actually now own both machines and each have their pros and cons.  I do believe that Cricut is a little easier to get started with right away if you are a beginner.)

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most labor intensive  (or time consuming) way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers.  Reader tip:  Cut them while watching TV.

Facts about the freebie:

  • One  set of HP functional planner stickers on  an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpg file.   I’ve changed from pdfs to high resolution jpegs in order to keep the file sizes much smaller. (1 MB each or less)
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes fuzzy and distorted.
  • Color scheme:   light dusty rose, light gold, sage green, slate blue

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Hello peeps. I was reviewing some recent blog visits and noticed the popularity of my Shabby Chic Tea Party Crafting  printable, even after all these years!  I have noticed that there are many visits to my blog for shabby chic or vintage  journaling elements.  So,  I thought that today I would update that printable and tweak some of the elements and layout.

These printables are  in addition to those I have already posted.  You’re getting a teapot and teacup tea set with this free printable download, and I have mirrored the teacups and teapot as well.    I have also added coordinating labels.

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 11 crafting  elements in all.   As always, you can use these crafting elements for  journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting.

Facts about the Blue Toile Teatime Printable :

  •  11 crafting  elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file and labels on jpeg.
  • File size – 4.2 MB
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: blue and ivory

( **Please note:  You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. I also have redesigned the template so that the margins are within the “registration” area of your silhouette.   You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette  but this should make creating the cutfile a lot easier.) I have provided jpegs to resolve this problem.

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock or heavy white printer paper  depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

Free Butterflies Botanical Junk Journaling Mini Kit Printables

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

junk journaling printables

Hello peeps! Well, today I am providing an update on my latest vintage junk journaling mini kit printables!    I wanted to help you out a little with a vintage ephemera junk journal mini kit printable set to  jump start  your crafting, art journaling,  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s freebie download.  These images are absolutely gorgeous with beautiful turquoise and neutral colors.  They were created by a 20th century French Artist by the name of Emile-Alain Seguy.  The originals were in a book titled, Papillon.

Most of these images are public domain images and  came from a wonderful website called Rawpixel, they offer unlimited downloads on  public domain images for free with a free sign up to their website.  You can download up to five images per day on their other free images.  They offer different high quality sizes of these graphics, some at resolutions suitable for professional printing.   I like this graphic website because they provide a lot of high quality png files as well as gorgeous vintage images.

Today’s freebie was created from a variety of vintage ephemera butterfly botanical images that were  downloaded and resized to approximate journaling cards size.   I added the additional elements which I hope you can use in your various junk journaling or other paper craft projects.

I didn’t add distressing shades or brushes on the individual images, because what I have seen is that different diy crafters have different preferences to the amount of distressing they prefer on their journal items, I will suggest that you take a look at Tim Holtz, distressing inks, if you are interested in what “distressing” with ink is all about.

Facts about the Vintage Junk Journal Kit Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 16 elements varying from journaling cards, tickets, tabs and a single isolated butterfly image.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects or other types of memory keeping.

This free junk journaling mini kit includes: 1)  a junk journal page  on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg file.   2) A set of tickets and tabs journaling images on a 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ jpeg file and 3) png files with the french word for butterfly and 4) a butterfly image isolated on a transparent background.  I didn’t bundle these files, so you will have to download them individually.  The watermark (if any) will NOT appear on your junk  journal page.

These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp.

The materials I used were all sourced from online vintage ephemera scanned at a very high resolution.  Enjoy!

Latest Vintage Junk Journal Project

I don’t always get a chance to share little tips on what I am working on, I am providing more of these pics on my Facebook and Instagram accounts.   I just wanted to show you that using Photoshop CC (there are other Photo editing programs available) I took one of the images by E. A. Seguy and isolated this set of butterflies. I usually work with a light grey background in a second background layer in order to erase all the unwanted floating pixels and jagged edges.  The fully edited image with a transparent background is provided below.

My traffic keeps increasing from visitors from all over the world, thank goodness for Google translate!  I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to my boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
