Today, I am releasing a new design that I have been working on: a set of Retro or vintage journaling cards printables. I designed these journaling cards in Adobe illustrator with retro images from Raw Pixel for your spring and Easter paper crafting. I have been working on a few spring junk journals and wanted some spring ephemera!
I really had a lot of fun designing these elements even though getting the authentic feel and worn look for these vintage images is a challenge. I’m still working on perfecting these images to make them look even more realistic.

Creative Fabrica is coming out with new tools all the time, and the latest is their Font Generator as they develop their studio design applications that use AI features. I have taken advantage of this and created several new fonts. There are a few included in the design available today.

Design Inspiration
I developed the inspiration for these printables because I have been looking on Etsy and Ebay for a specific style of vintage items and they are hard to come by in a variety of colors. As for the details about the freebie, there are 6 journaling cards in all. The elements are all designed and saved as jpeg files on a US letter layout. The approximate measurements for these elements; the cards are 3″ x 4″.
Although these cards were made specifically for project life , as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, junk journaling, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the vintage freebie:
- There one free printables; one US letter jpeg file
- These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
- Printing tip: I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte to use as die cuts or use white sticker paper to use as stickers.
- Color theme: pastel, yellow, pink, light blue
