On The Go Travel Journaling Cards – Free Printable

Hello blog followers and visitors! I hope you are doing well and ready for  my first “project life”  or pocketbook journaling freebie layout design on this new site. I’ve  been thinking about summer travel and thought I would come up with a freebie that might jump start your plans. The design has a vintage twist with a turquoise color theme.

Hope you like the new, revised website and stay tuned for more tweaks that hopefully will make it a lot easier to find the freebies you’d like to use for your crafting /chillaxing time.

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 14 elements in all.  You have 4 travel journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.  And, that goes for you Filofax/planner fans, as well.

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 14 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is medium hefty at  5.04 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: turquoise, black

Hearts n Clouds Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello, blog followers and visitors!  As the weekend rolls in, I thought I would contribute to your crafting and scrapbooking collection by issuing this freebie that was inspired by lovely washi tape!  It wasn’t meant to look exactly like it, but just a mere approximation and inspiration.  I hope you like this set. 🙂

Whimsical 4 Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello, blog followers and visitors!  Well, it seems by popular demand  (hat tip: Renee) I have come up with a new freebie layout for project life journaling elements that now will include 4″ x 6″  cards.  So, this is the design’s debut….drum roll, please.

I am not quite sure if  I will create them all the time but going forward, I think I can manage  from time to time to post a few designs. I have been crunched for time and I would have to post them separately on another blog post and refer back to the coordinating 3″ x 4″ journaling cards.  I hope you don’t mind.

 The freebie for today was designed to match my last blog post that used a black, white and red color scheme.  The links for the whole “Whimsical” series are included below.  As usual, I hope you will like these! 🙂

  • Color scheme: black, white, bright red

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.)
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.
