Hello blog followers and visitors. Well the month of November is waning, as we get closer to Thanksgiving I thought you might like some  gift tags for your hostess gifts or other uses. So, I thought that today I would post  a  set of  watercolor fall themed gift tags.

I have included two different phrases, “Happy Thanksgiving” and “Thank You”, so that you can find the use suitable for your intended use.  However, I think these gift tags will be great for hostess gifts.

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 12  crafting elements or gift tags in all.   As always, these crafting elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting.

Facts about the freebie:

  • 12 gift tags  crafting  elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file, approximately 1 3/4″ x 3.25″.
  • 12 gift tags  crafting  elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file, approximately 2″ across.
  • File size – 4MB   – 2nd download 4MB
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.

Hello peeps!  Happy Friday.. These “fall themed” A5 planner insert and dashboards were on my design to-do list.   These have a darker color theme with the black background and fall motifs in lovely fall colored watercolor graphics.    So, make sure you have plenty of black ink in your printer. Hope you like them. 

Sometimes I have more ideas than time available to get them done.   I own the now retired platinum  Carpe Diem A5 planner and I have been  wanting to design a fall themed  printable suitable for this size of planner.

This planner insert  is specifically designed for fans of the Carpe Diem Planner by Simple Stories or  other A5 planners.  Or  the pages can be used in the Classic Happy Planner as planner inserts by using the Mambi punch and popping the pages right into your  Classic Happy planner.    The size of the planner inserts are 148 mm x 210 mm or 5.83″ by 8.27″, your standard A5 page.

How to Use this “Planner Insert” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to cut out these freebies and I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the to-do lists or planner inserts using their designer software.  If you need to convert the pdf file, there are many online converters that will convert the files from pdfs to jpegs.

2)  For the planner dashboard, it would be ideal if you printed it on glossy or matte  photo paper so that the watercolor texture will show up clearly.  However, simple cardstock will do.  If you own a laminator, laminating the dashboard and then hole punching it will improve it’s wear.

3)  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which makes cutting a straight line easier, rather than using scissors.

  • Color scheme:  black, white , orange, brown, moss green

Happy Midweek!   Just wanted to share another fall themed planner stickers set.  This time this set has muted fall colors and a  lot of graphic designs.   I have included a weekly set for your planning pleasure with a sampler set for the Cricut.

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the Erin Condren Planner   (vertical) or similar Week At A Glance Planners  or other horizontal weekly planners such as the  Plum Paper Planner or Filofax.  The functional planner stickers, especially the box stickers,  are sized to fit  within the vertical columns and boxes specifically for the Erin Condren .

However, you can reduce the printable when you go to print in order to adjust the stickers’ size to fit your specific planner. (Some distortion may occur using this method.)

How to Use this “Planner Stickers” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software. ( **Please note:  You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. I also have redesigned the template so that the margins are within the “registration” area of your silhouette.   You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette  but this should make creating the cutfile a lot easier.)

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most tedious  (or time consuming) way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers. Reader’s Tip:  Cut your planner stickers while watching TV.

  • One 6″ x 8″ png file for Cricut digital cutters.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.
  • Color scheme:  orange, green, sage green, brown, golden yellow
