Shabby Chic Teacup Elements – Free Printable

Hi, hope you are starting the weekend rested and ready for a new freebie! This is a follow-up freebie to my Mother’s Day journaling elements download. Well,  at least the digital paper set that I purchased and originally used for my project life freebie.   This time, although I used the same colors (basically  a color palette of teal  and pink colors and of course, shabby chic floral patterns as before) I wanted some shabby chic teacup elements.

I guess these are shapes you can use for journaling, smashbooks as well as scrapbooking. It seems many of you find different uses than what I might have originally designed them for; however, that’s okay with me.  Just hoping that you are enjoying them.  I added the links below of other journaling freebies that match this digital paper set and color scheme below.

  • The freebie is an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is about 5.96 MB.
  • There are 21 elements of various shapes and sizes, plus a few French word art ticket stubs.

Here’s one crafter at work using some of my freebie elements “Shabby Chic Teacups” and “Shabby Chic Banners” both listed below.  What a great use, I love large clothespins!  Check out the first few minutes of the vid to see how she utilized these freebie journaling elements and materials from other designers to make this great altered peg .  Goes to show you the variety of uses you apply with these freebies.

Shabby Chic Banner Alpha – Free Printable

I hope you are beginning your Labor Day Weekend with plans for a lot of rest & relaxation.  Today’s freebie is a follow-up freebie to my shabby chic Mother’s Day project life or pocketbook journaling elements freebie of a few months ago.

I have designed a coordinating shabby chic banner alpha in a color palette that I really love, consisting of teal (or robin’s egg blue) and a range of pink colors. I have also included a really nice set of shabby chic floral patterns.  In addition, I  included some  heart doily details and vintage clip art on various journaling banners or labels.

Facts about the Freebie

The 37 elements are laid out on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ pdf file.  The file size is approximately 7.37MB.  All the elements were designed at 300 dpi, so the printable’s quality should be very high and the details crisp and sharp. Each alpha banner measures approximately 1 3/4″ in height and 1 1/4″ in width. The banner labels are about 2.5″ by 3/4″ and the circle labels are 3/4″ in diameter.

Vintage Map Tags and Brads – Free Digital Embellishments

During summer many are taking time to relax with travel and vacations, but even if all you can afford is a “staycation” and the extent of your travel is only to the local park or your backyard, today’s freebie is all about travel with a vintage theme with these vintage map tags.

Hopefully, it will get you to think about far off destinations and put you in a relaxing frame of mind so that you can enjoy your weekend!

Vintage Freebie Details

And on to today’s freebie… I have provided a set of vintage map tags and vintage brads; there are two types, as for  the  digital embellishments, I am including a couple of  1″ brads and 2 vintage cluster tags (approximately 1.75″ wide and 3″ tall).

All these elements were created at a high resolution of 300 dpi. You can usually right click on the jpeg image and it will take you to the full resolution image stored on my Photobucket account.  On a windows platform, you can right-click and”save image as” in order to download and save to your desktop.

In addition, I have included a printable download .jpeg file for  vintage map tags of the United States on a 4″ x 6″ sheet, the tags are approximately 1.75″ by 3″, at 300 dpi.

The file size is about 1.39 MB and as mentioned before is on a 4″ x 6″ sheet, so you might want to print this on a matte 4″ x 6″ photo paper for the best printing quality.

If this size works out, you will probably see more “freebie” mini printable downloads with printable elements in the future so that you can use in your project life or other scrapbooking use.

Details About the images:

*All images are made at 300 dpi so the digital files will usually be very large.

*Most will be .png files (transparent backgrounds) so that you can layer them on to your scrapbooking backgrounds or photos.

*Most elements will not include a drop shadow, as I will leave that up to you to add one if you like.  Drop shadows are usually included in the top layers of layered elements.  However, bottom layer shadows are included only in the preview images.

*I will be providing these elements with the assumption that you know how to use either Photoshop Elements, the open source photo editing program GIMP, Photoshop, or other photo editing software.  While I would like to offer support for these digital files, this is currently just a hobby and not my full time business.
