Hello all my blog followers and visitors! I hope you are having a great middle of the week and carving out time for some crafting and lots of rest and relaxation.

Lots of good things are happening here at VintageGlam Studio, so I wanted to give you a little review of what’s happening in regard to my Youtube Channel  before we enter the super busy holiday season.  Although, we  are pretty much  there already come to think of it …what with Thanksgiving already behind us and current holiday shopping and parties, I know you must be busy!

I just wanted to share that I am actively refreshing and updating my Youtube Channel and vide0 tools.  At this time, I hope to create lots of videos that basically provide a summarized review of my planner decor layouts in my Happy Planner by Me and My Big Ideas, and Erin Condren Life Planner.  I intend to also feature the junk journaling journals and tools that I have featured on my Instagram channel.

Most of the planner decor videos are under 5 minutes and they are edited so that you can get the real “meat” of the content. I also include most of the materials and supplies and sources in the Youtube description so that you can add it to your “crafting” list , if you are interested. And I would just love it, if you become a subscriber!  I’m sorry that in the past,  i had not posted enough video content.

I had too many other time constraints to provide enough video content for my channel but with the discovery of new video editing tools that make this process so much easier and less time consuming, I intend to boost my video content for 2025! I plan to share some of my junk journal flip throughs, diy crafting and current video tools.   I would love it if you became a subscriber to my Youtube Channel.  The following are the online video editing tools I am currently using.

Top  Online Video Creation and Editing Tools

Online video editing tools have come a long way, offering a range of options for both beginners and more experienced creators. Here’s a quick rundown:

  1. Flexclip – Super user-friendly with a drag-and-drop interface. Great for simple edits, and it’s cloud-based, so you can work from anywhere. The free plan is limited, but it’s solid for basic needs. Upgrade to business plan to use it’s advanced features.
  2. Screenpal – This tool combines simplicity with a lot of features. You can trim, add text, and use effects without a steep learning curve. Free plan is decent, but you’ll need to pay for higher export quality.
  3. Adobe Express – It’s Adobe, so it’s got solid features and templates. Ideal for quick, polished videos. The free version gives you a lot of customization, but you may need to upgrade for more advanced options and exports.

Overall, these tools make video editing accessible without the need for heavy software or hardware, and fancy equipment. Perfect for quick edits or social media posts, but if you’re after deep functionality, you might need to go pro!  You’ll be seeing more of my video clips as we get prepared for year 2025!

I also hope to create more vids that cover some of the diy’s that I have shared on my Instagram account. (You guys are keeping me busy!)   But that is all in the planning  and “get it done” stage for right now, in any case I just wanted to let you know what is going on and share a video that I published when I first started my channel.

Thanks for your support and we’ll keep blogging away!

Hello peeps ! Here we are in the month of September  and it’s time for another monthly layout!  I thought this cute pumpkin themed paper was a great choice for  this month’s monthly layout in your Classic Happy Planner.

Regardless of the graphics used, the good thing is that there is an undated option, so that you can use the planner stickers for another month if you so choose.  I used this set of pumpkin themed  digital paper  from Creative Fabrica for today’s blog post freebie as we are approaching the beginning of fall in a few days.  I use a lot of graphics from this site and it’s one of my favs for great graphic resources , they have upgraded their subscription as they work hard to attract great and well known  graphic designers, don’t forget to check them out!

Monthly Layout Planner Stickers Specs

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the Classic Happy Planner  by Mambi or similar Week At A Glance Planners  or other weekly planners such as the  Plum Paper Planner that have wider boxes for the monthly spread.

The functional planner stickers, especially the box stickers,  are sized to fit  within the monthly calendar boxes specifically for the monthly spread of the Classic Happy Planner.

However, there are several resizing instructions on Pinterest on what percent to print this printable  in order to resize the printable for personal planners with smaller dimensions.

Also, if you are new to this site, I wanted to let you know  that I have a board on Pinterest  that  you might want to follow that has several pins (ideas) by other planner designers, stationery, home office decor,  office supplies and planner freebies that are mostly planner related, you can view that board and/or follow here,  Home Office | Planners & Stationery Favs.

There are  more than 90+ planner stickers or  elements total in today’s release.    As always, these stickers and elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and paper crafting but these were made specifically for you Happy  Planner and Filofax fans.

Note  ***Please see my Terms of Use below before downloading if you have not to been to this site before.***

How to Use this “ Monthly Layout Stickers” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter ( i.e. Cricut Explore), you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software.  ( I actually now own both machines and each have their pros and cons.  I do believe that Cricut is a little easier to get started with right away if you are a beginner.)

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most labor intensive  (or time consuming) way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers.  Reader tip:  Cut them while watching TV.

Facts about the freebie:

  • One  set of HP functional planner stickers on  an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpg file.   I’ve changed from pdfs to high resolution jpegs in order to keep the file sizes much smaller. (1 MB each or less)
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes fuzzy and distorted.
  • Color scheme: dusty rose, yellow, dark turquoise, dark muted green

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

end of year review checklist on magenta flowers

Hello peeps! Well this is it, we have arrived at the first weekend of the New Year!  And I hope you can at least look back at all the goals you have successfully accomplished for this past  year.  The end of year review checklists I have provided today might help you with that task.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas  or Happy Holidays and that you enjoyed time with family, friends and loved ones.

Yes, …it’s that time of the year that you start thinking of what the next one will bring, of course if you  were not distracted by all the party prep or more visiting  from family and friends.  You might have already  gotten through the planner prep for the new year.

However, if you didn’t get a chance… today, I am providing a set of  end of year review planner checklists to help you review your goals for 2022 and give you a head start in planning 2023’s goals!  I created one in Pantone’s color of the year “Viva Magenta” and another printable in gold.  These were created as  US Letter size pdfs.  They are three pages of questions to help put your goal planning to paper.

Usually these questions are already in the back of your mind, or for some of you super organized folks you have already gone through this exercise a few days ago.

For the rest of us, I have provided these checklists and hope you use it when you are ready to commit some “me-time” to actually review the questions on this list and get  your mind ready for this year’s goals and plans.
