DIY Halloween Erin Condren Planner Covers

Halloween EC Covers

Hello peeps!   September is disappearing fast and you can’t miss what holiday is approaching soon….Halloween, of course.  Today, I am excited to release this really fun project–a set of Erin Condren planner covers that I designed using clip  art from a new shop on Etsy. (info in image credit)  I just loved, loved the cute image of the little witch.

Some of the best information I found on creating diy erin condren life planner interchangeable covers was on a pin via Pinterest when I released my first set of covers.  You can access that comprehensive article here at DIY Erin Condren Life Planner Interchangeable Covers. 

Please note you will need access to several tools, materials and supplies  such as a laminator, laminate sheets,  a 1/8″ hole punch, scissors  in order to complete this project, but if you are a planner addict you may already have them on hand in your planner stash.

I  designed this set of diy Erin Condren planner covers in  colors that would coordinate with  Halloween; it’s fun,  especially if you like to change your covers seasonally.  To view Erin’s Condren’s seasonal interchangeable covers click HERE.

These planner covers are specifically sized and designed for fans of the Erin Condren Planner  only .  I suggest that you use a bright white cardstock or photo matte or gloss photo paper to print out your covers so that the colors will be vibrant and the watercolor texture wil show up.  Note:  These planner covers are not designed to upload to the Erin Condren website as they need to have a “bleed” space added in order for you to have them printed and cropped correctly, so keep that in mind.

If you are not interested in using these images as covers, I know that planner fans who  are technologically astute, will be able to  resize the jpg files in order to create a dashboard or project life card for your papercraft use.  While that is totally doable for your own personal use, please abide by my TOU ( it is listed below) and do not sell or share the digital files.  Please play nice.

  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.

You can access the jpg files below. Click on the pictures below (pictures posted are low res preview pics)  and you will be able to download the two jpg files that you can use as your covers.  These files should open in any photo editing software including online photo editing tools like PicMonkey or Canva. Keep the aspect ratio and the image at 100 percent before printing.

Fall Side Margin Checklists

Hello blog followers and visitors!  I didn’t want to forget all the Classic Happy Planner fans.  So, for today’s freebie,  I designed a printable with side margin checklists or “to do lists” as well as planner header stickers that I thought you might want to use in your fall planner decor.  I’ve included side margin checklists, header labels and a few hydrate  boxes in this printable in fall themed colors.

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the Erin Condren Planner or  Happy Planner by Mambi.  I have measured this side bar checklist and they should fit on both types of planners.   They are sized to fit  within the vertical columns  side margin of each weekly spread or  page.

There are 36 planner stickers or  elements total in today’s release.     As always, these stickers and elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting but these were made specifically for you Planner and Filofax fans.

How to Use this “Planner Stickers” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software. ( **Please note:  You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. I also have redesigned the template so that the margins are within the “registration” area of your silhouette.   You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette  but this should make creating the cutfile a lot easier.)

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most tedious  (or time consuming) way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the stickers.

  • Color scheme:  slate blue, olive green, burnt orange

Hello Peeps!  Today, I thought I would release a planner printable that many of you “newbie” and veteran planners might find useful  as a  “empty my brain and write it down” place for all the tasks you want to list for your upcoming week!   Sort of a pre-planning worksheet to a final commitment in your planner.  Is that a little extra work?

I would say yes, but sometimes when our mind is muddled with all kind of tasks putting them down on some type of system helps with your weekly planning.

This weekly list is especially for planner fans that have a structured week or specific time appointments and can be helpful if you like to block your time.

I used a pretty script font, color block and  a cute vector graphic for the design.  I hope you find it functional and a pretty addition to all your weekly planning.
