vintage labels printable on desktop

Hello peeps! Well, today I am providing an addition to  my latest vintage junk journaling mini kit printables!    I wanted to help you out with  a set of vintage style junk journal white on black  labels in a mini kit printable set with month  and seasonal headers. This time I gave you both types of labels:  white on black and black on white!   You can use these labels to  jump start  your crafting, art and junk journaling,  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s freebie download.

Most of the lovely vintage images are public domain images and come from a wonderful website called Rawpixel, they offer unlimited downloads on  public domain images for free with a free sign up to their website.  You can download up to five images per day on their other free images.  They offer different high quality sizes of these graphics, some at resolutions suitable for professional printing.   I like this graphic website because they provide a lot of high quality png files as well as gorgeous vintage and vintage style images.

Many of the vintage style fonts were sourced from another of my favorite graphic design sites, Creative Fabrica.  The lovely shabby chic rose backgrounds were obtained from this site.

I didn’t add distressing shades or brushes on the individual images, because what I have seen is that different diy crafters have different preferences to the amount of distressing they prefer on their journal items, I will suggest that you take a look at Tim Holtz, distressing inks, if you are interested in what “distressing” with ink is all about.

Facts about the Vintage Junk Journal Kit Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 16 elements varying from journaling cards, tickets, tabs and a single isolated butterfly image.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects or other types of memory keeping.

This free junk journaling mini kit includes: 1)  a set of white on black written labels  on an 5 1/2″ by 1 1/2″ jpeg file.   2) A set of half page shabby chic rose monthly calendars on a 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg file and 3) A set of four shabby chic rose mini calendars on a 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg.   I didn’t bundle these files, so you will have to download them individually.  The watermark (if any) will NOT appear on your junk  journal page.

These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp.  I used my laser printer to get a crisp and dark print on my images.

Thanks for Your Social Media Repins

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank you’s” and the legitimate “link love”.  Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as a few Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

My traffic keeps increasing from visitors from all over the world, thank goodness for Google translate!  I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to my boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

How to Use these Labels Junk Journal Kit Printables:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout  is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter, such as the Cricut Explore or Maker  you can cut out the  journal kit using their designer software.

2) Also another method,  would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock or heavy white printer paper  depending on how thick you want your sticker  and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) Another way, (albeit a little time consuming way) is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  Another handy tool to have for the straight cuts is a slide or rotary paper trimmer which will reduce cutting around the straight sides of stickers.  A gracious reader told me she does her fussy cutting while watching TV!  Great tip!

Shabby Chic Floral Planner Stickers Printable – Weekly Kit

This post may contain affiliate links. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello peeps…it’s Monday and the start of another new week,  I thought I would  follow up with this set of  Happy Planner planner stickers (weekly layout) using  digi papers from this lovely shabby chic floral digital paper.   I love these cute paper designs from a digital paper designer at Creative Fabrica.   They are filled with these lovely flowers and lots of notebooks and planners.

I thought I would mention that Creative Fabrica has a whole new promotion for August starting with a Silhouette Cameo giveaway offer that begins today, and several other freebies.  This offer will run through August 30th…get in on the fun!

Info about the  Classic Happy Planner

Me and my Big Ideas, the manufacturer of the Happy Planner has expanded their interior layouts to weekly, timeline, Memory Keeper and dashboard views.    They come in different sizes; Big, Classic, Mini and Skinny.

These planner stickers are specifically designed for fans of the “Classic” MAMBI Happy Planner (vertical layout) or similar Week At A Glance Planners or other vertical weekly planners.  Of course, you can use them in whatever type of planner you own!

The functional planner stickers, especially the full box stickers, are sized to fit within the vertical columns and boxes specifically for the Classic Happy Planner.  Keep in mind that the full boxes are now sized at approximately 2.5″ by 1.5″ .

They are  almost 1/2″ taller than your vertical boxes for the Erin Condren Planner (1.9″).  Sometimes the designs can not be scaled down for your Erin Condren, so expect some distortion to occur.  However, you are free to mix and match as you are inspired.

How to Use this “Shabby Chic Planner Stickers” Printable:

There are several ways you can use this printable to create your stickers and I have included a few in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter, (i.e. Cricut Explore)  you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software.

2) Also another method, would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most time consuming way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  In addition, don’t forget a paper trimmer which helps with the straight cuts. You should probably use punches for the circle stickers. I try to design the circle stickers at standard punch sizes.  For hand cutting, a new tool I highly recommend is the Gyro-tool.  It’s rotating blade allows you to cut around curvy shapes and is especially good around script stickers.  Reader Tip:  A reader noted that she fussy cuts her stickers while watching TV!

Facts about the freebie:

*A set of 130+ planner stickers on two  8 1/2″ by 11″ jpeg files.
*These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color. The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are sometimes distorted.
*Color scheme: pink, peach, light green, muted pink

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.) If you have been here before, you know the drill. If not, you might want to read the quick TOU below before you access the printable.

Shabby Chic Rose Journaling Papers Add Ons

shabby chic journaling add ons on desktop

Hello peeps!   Today, I’m providing the add ons for this set of vintage ephemera journaling papers printables  that I had hinted about in a past  post.

Your enthusiasm motivated me to come up with some new ideas and hopefully these journaling  add ons are great assets to add to your paper stash!  So, I designed… (1) large tags (2) journaling cards and (3) a set of tickets, tabs and a vintage photo journaling card.    (Any watermarks are removed in the downloads.). Let me know what you think about these designs in the comments section below.

I designed these images in Photoshop CC which is an awesome photo editing program and can handle these large image files quite easily.  (That’s part of the reason I subscribed to the CC version as soon as I was able.)    Your printing results will vary depending on the type of printer you have.  You can always take them to the nearest Office Depot or Staples (here in the US) to get higher quality printing if you are using these for a special journaling project.

I hope this freebie  inspires you in your crafting, art journaling, junk journaling  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s vintage freebie.

Shabby Chic Rose Journaling Add Ons Design Inspiration

I am totally enjoying designing these projects.  I  am always excited to develop new ideas for  tags  and now papers with a vintage ephemera look for either scrapbooking, art journaling, junk journaling and other paper crafting use.  I am trying to provide a few of these vintage printables more frequently.

If you are not into junk or art journaling, you can also pop these into the pockets of A5 planners or Traveler’s Notebooks if you enjoy a vintage aesthetic, as I do.

Today’s freebie has a lot of source vintage ephemera images from  vintage Photoshop brushes (many that I am designing), round hand script, ledger papers,  vintage botanical images I have scanned and other sources of vintage ephemera digital items, some sourced from books published in the 1800s!  Each design requires different Photoshop skill sets, so I enjoy the process and challenge of designing them.

I thought I would mention that Creative Fabrica  (a great graphic resource site and my go to site for many graphics) is gearing up for another great promotion, they just keep getting better and expanding the kinds of graphics that they are offering, so check them out if you choose.

Facts about the Vintage Ephemera  Journaling Add Ons Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 3 journaling options in this printable.    You can use these elements for journaling in your traveler’s notebook projects, smashbooks, junk journals or other types of memory keeping.  This printable is for diy crafts but, of course, can be used in your journals.

This free printable has 3 journaling printables at 8.5″ by 11″ with assorted add-ons to coordinate or match with the original shabby chic rose  papers I released.   These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp.  They can be used in either the Silhouette Cameo or Cricut digital cutters to cut them out or you can use scissors and a slide cutter.  You don’t absolutely need a digital cutter to print, cut and assemble your projects but they’re great tools!

The materials I used were vintage  ephemera scanned at a very high resolution and other high quality vintage digital resources.

**Please note, although I used  public domain resources to create this design, the design is under my copyright.**

Materials Needed

*White cardstock or white sticker paper, depending on your final use.  You might consider white matte photo paper as I have included photo images in the journaling cards printable. Other journaling crafters have mentioned Southworth linen paper for printing journaling papers to get that almost cloth like texture for your paper.

*Vintage inks, such as Tim Holtz  Distress Inkpads, to give the edges a worn, tinted or aged look, if that is your preference.  This process takes off the white edge (distresses) of the journaling cards and journaling spots, if you are using them for junk journaling and gives the paper a subtle, aged and worn  look.  With these inks you control the amount of tinting and color you prefer on your edges.

*Scissors or slide cutter

*Photo editing software (i.e., Photoshop Elements) for jpeg files or Silhouette or other digital cutters.

How to Use this Shabby Chic Rose Journaling  Papers Printables

  • Print and cut out the papers and use them as add on items  for your junk journals, traveler’s notebooks and other planners.  Watermark is removed on actual downloads.
