Free Valentine’s Day Digital Paper

Hello peeps! I have been working on these digital papers since a few weeks ago and was getting them ready for Valentine’s Day crafting. Today, I am providing a set of seamless gorgeous “pink” and violet digital paper made with the “Just Love Valentine Clip Art” set by Essentially Nomadic. This shop is also on Etsy.

I used only a few of the graphics and came out with this fun holiday paper! Although, I purchased the Commercial License for this set, I still want to credit the designer as I do not want to create graphics that are in competition with the shop’s own products.

I designed about 85% of the background vector graphics and some other elements in these papers and complementary graphics for this set.

This is a whole new fun part of designing, that I am currently exploring, as I get more familiar with using Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator for designing digital paper and patterns. This is my fifth digital paper set, that I have provided. I received some great feedback to my last set, so I included this one as well.

As mentioned before, I have a new appreciation for all those designers who design digital paper and provide them on Etsy and other online shops.

The fundamentals are initially easy but getting symmetry and other aspects of the designs right is much more difficult than it seems. This time I am adding a set of six new designs, each with different clip art, that I have been able to figure out how to set up, create the pattern tile, and make them seamless as well.

Facts about the Valentine’s Day Digital Paper

The picture below is the preview of the paper at 72 dpi, however the original is located on my Google Drive account and the file size is approximately 1 MB per digital paper.

This set of digital papers were designed by me and were designed as 8″ x 8″, 300 dpi seamless digital papers using several graphics and overlays in Adobe Illustrator CC. There are six 8″ x 8″ jpeg files in the the downloads below and I also added a set of full box stickers for the Erin Condren!

Color Theme

These are the colors used in the main backgrounds and graphics of this set.

Download Instructions

These are .png files, you will need to be able to use digital or photo editing software that can open png files. This is not a zip file. You will also need access to some type of online or offline photo editing software, like Canva to use the files. Since they are .png file you can use them both in Silhouette Studio (all versions) and Cricut digital cutters. They were designed as backgrounds for your own stickers. Here’s a sample sticker page [jpg file – 1.5 MB – half letter size] for those of you who do not own either of these two digital cutters. Of course, they can be used in other papercrafting or planner projects as long as you abide by the Terms of Use.

Mother’s Day Shabby Chic Gift Tags Printable

Hello blog followers and visitors. Well the month of April is waning, in the process of reviewing my blog visitors, I have noticed that there are many searches to my blog for shabby chic journaling elements or gift tags. So, I thought that today I would post a new set of Mother’s Day shabby chic heart and teacup gift tags.

These are in addition to those I have already posted. You’re getting a teapot and teacup tea set with this free printable download . So on to the freebie…

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 32 crafting elements or gift tags in all. As always, these crafting elements can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting.

Facts about the freebie:

32 gift tags crafting elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file. (2 ppgs)
File size – 2.05 MB ( 2 pdf files)
These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color. The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
Color scheme: soft green, pink, white

Free Svg Cut File – Good Vibes Phrase

Hello peeps. Do you have the mid-week blahs? Well, hopefully this svg cut file freebie will cheer you up! I had a real fun time designing this phrase and hopefully you will find it a fun diy craft project.

Instructions about the Freebie

This svg cut file was created for your personal use in your papercraft projects, i.e. scrapbooking, smashbooks, gift cards, and vinyl cutting projects, etc.

Note: For your information, I will be including an svg file, png file, and a jpeg with most of the files designed on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ format so that you can use the file on most printers or digital cutters, and of course they will be bundled in zip file format. You will need to have the software on your computer to open the zip file and access your files.

The Silhouette Portrait Basic Edition can open jpeg & png files whereas most other digital cutters (i.e. the Cricut Explore )including the Silhouette Cameo with Designer Edition Software can open the svg file format.
