Chalkboard Journaling Cards – Free Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello…today’s freebie is a variation on two of my favorite themes, whimsical style and a red, black and white color scheme, except this time I used a realistic tag paper in cream/tan for the background paper.  I also added a chalkboard and/or distressed texture to many of the journaling cards and elements.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 17 elements, varying from journaling cards, to a tag, a mini bingo card and black chalkboard journaling elements such as  circle labels.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journaling or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the freebie…

This free printable has 22 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.  This freebie’s file size is  rather large at approximately 16.9 MB.  The elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp.  The paper texture at 100% detail is a very realistic tag paper. Almost all the elements are my designs.

Thank you  for your Pinterest re-pins.

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.  Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as a few Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

My traffic keeps increasing from visitors from all over the world, thank goodness for Google translate!  I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Color Brights Journaling Elements – Free Printable

Hello, I hope you had a great weekend and you are revved up for today’s journaling cards and journaling elements freebie.  This week’s inspiration comes from the colors of the rainbow, with so much rain falling in so many areas of the country, I thought it might be nice to have a colorful and cheery freebie.

I tried to include a few tab designs because I see that some of my followers have expanded to using some of  my printables for smashbooks, planners and journaling while others use them for Project Life or mixed media and altered art.  It doesn’t matter, let your creativity guide you to the best use.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 25 elements varying from circle labels, rounded corner “inchie” tabs, journaling cards and date elements.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects or other types of memory keeping or the uses mentioned above.

This free printable has 25 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.  The file size is approximately  300KB.  They were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp. I designed most of the clip art and other elements.

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Portrait or a Silhouette Cameo or other digital cutter( i.e. Cricut) you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette.) There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.

Thank you for all your Pinterest and Social Media pins…

Think Pink Project Life Journaling Cards – Free Printable

Hi…I hope you had a great weekend!   For today’s freebie, I copied a color scheme I had used before by adding a new color with my favorite high contrast black and white… and that is a soft pink.

I also added a high contrast, black and white graphic but instead of a zebra pattern this time it is a houndstooth pattern.  I hope you like the variation on the  “pink, black and white”  color combination and design results.

As for the details about the freebie, there are four journaling cards plus a few elements and they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects or other type of memory keeping.

This free printable has 25 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.  The file size is about 350 KB.  They were created at 300 dpi and should print out crisp and clear with high definition in the detail.  I have also included a little extra word art snippets and paperclip flags.
