Well, now we are rolling into the weekend and I wanted to help you out with your spring crafting with an additional vintage ephemera botanical  printable  for this weekend.

I hope this freebie  inspires you in your crafting, art journaling,  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s vintage freebie.

These designs are fun to create.  I   have been wanting  to create  some tags with a vintage ephemera look for either scrapbooking, journaling, smashbooks and other paper crafting uses.  

Today’s freebie has a lot of source  botanical vintage ephemera images from vintage postcards,   and other sources of vintage ephemera items.

Facts about the Vintage Ephemera Botanical Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 12elements in this printable.    You can use these elements for journaling in your traveler’s notebook projects, smashbooks or other types of memory keeping.  This printable is for diy crafts but, of course, can be used in your art and junk journals.

This free printable has 12 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ jpg file.   These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be clear and sharp.  I have made the larger tags at 2″ x 3″ and the smaller tags at about 1 1/2″ by 2″. 

The materials I used were  ephemera  digital files scanned at a very high resolution and other high quality vintage digital resources.

**Please note, although I used many public domain resources to create this design, the design is under my copyright.

 

Materials Needed

*White cardstock

*Scissors or slide cutter

*Hole punch

*Baker’s Twine or ribbon

*Photo editing software for jpeg files or Silhouette or other digital cutters.

How to Use this  Vintage Ephemera Printable

  • Print  on white cardstock and cut out the tags and use them as gift tags, or to label items in your household.
  • Use in your shabby chic art journals or junk journals.

Free Fall Farmhouse Tags Printables

I hope you are all having a great weekend.  As you can see, today’s freebie ( a set of farm tags and plaid labels)  is made with  vintage inspired farmhouse graphics and a harvest theme.  I also used a popular Rae Dunn farmhouse font.

I really had a lot of fun  designing these farmhouse style tags and especially since the beginning of  fall is approaching soon and I wanted to get these papercraft items out to you.  Hope you like them!

Design Inspiration

As for the details about the freebie, there are 24 elements in all.  The tags measure approximately  3 1/2″x  2″  and the the orange plaid labels are approximately 2.5″ x 1.75″.  I used watercolor images for the vintage truck and pumpkin  for the orange plaid  labels.

Although these tags were made specifically as gift tags, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

They can also be used in your kitchen/ household labeling.

Facts about the farmhouse freebie:

  • The pumpkin truck printable has 9 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The pumpkin printable has 15 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • File size= 4 MB & 4 MB
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
  • Printing tip:   I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte.
  • Color theme: orange, grey, black

Well,  we are now into the weekend!    I wanted to help you out a little with a vintage ephemera  washi printable to jump start  your paper crafting, art or junk  journaling,  and/or scrapbooking time with today’s freebie!

I love, love washi.  So, I  have been desiring to create vintage washi with  vintage ephemera items for  the longest time.  You can use this washi for either scrapbooking, art journaling, smashbooks and other paper crafting uses.

Today’s freebie was created from a variety of vintage ephemera– a french receipt, citrus botanical art, vintage postcard textures, floral dictionary and other sources of vintage paper items.

I like to mix modern imagery with vintage or vintage inspired images; so, this is what I came up with, a set of vintage washi with a citrus theme and a farmhouse or cottage feel!  Hope you like the coordinated patterns – there are six different patterns in all.

Facts about the Vintage Ephemera Washi Freebie

As for the details about the freebie, there are 10 elements or washi strips and six different patterns.  They are sized at 5.5″ by .75″  (approx. 20MM), the last one is 6MM.   As always, they can either be used for journaling in your junk journals, art journaling projects or other types of memory keeping.

This free printable has 10 elements on an 5 1/2″ by 8″ jpg file.  I designed  it so that it can be used on either a Cricut digital Cutter or Sihouette Portrait.

The materials I used were all vintage ephemera scanned at a very high resolution or purchased from other vintage CU designers.

How to Use this “Vintage Ephemera Washi” Printable:

Use these washi stickers for your planners, junk journals, as an envelope wrapper and other fun ideas.  Let your creativity guide you!

There are several ways you can cut this printable to create your washi stickers and I have included a few tips in the following instructions:

1) The easiest way to use this printout is to print it out on a full sheet of white sticker paper and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter, (i.e. Cricut Explore)  you can cut out the to-do lists or planner stickers using their designer software. If you own the Silhouette Cameo,  you can double the image on an 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper on a landscape setting as the sticker sheet is 5.5 x 8”.  This will keep you from wasting paper.

2) Also another method, would be to use heavy bond printer paper or you can use 65 lb. white cardstock depending on how thick you want your sticker and then place adhesive via a snail tape runner or with a Xyron sticker tool or machine.

3) The most labor intensive way is to print out the planner stickers on sticker paper and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.  In addition, don’t forget a paper trimmer which helps with straight cuts. For hand cutting, a new tool I highly recommend is the Gyro-tool.  It’s rotating blade allows you to cut around curvy shapes and is especially good around script stickers.  Reader Tip:  Cut the stickers while watching TV!
