Summer Blog Update!

Hello friends…Just wanted to give you an update on what’s going on behind the scenes here at VintageglamStudio. I have been doing a little retooling of my activities and creating a presence in other  Social Media locations…such as Google+, Facebook and Instagram.

In addition, I am also actually spending most of my crafting time not only designing but actually creating in hardcopy most of the freebie printables I do design.  The image below has a sample of several of the products I have created and crafted.  Also, the warm weather is just so tempting for vintage ephemera shopping and that’s what  I am spending a lot of my spare time doing– going to thrift stores and flea market shopping and acquiring goodies to incorporate into my crafting.

So, all to say, I am still here and will continue posting freebies in the near future, but currently was in a hiatus as I develop, reorganize the blog and other Vintage Glam Studio content on other Social Media platforms.

Basic Blue Journaling Cards – Free Printable Download

 

Hello!  Now the summer weather is  really heating up in Southern California and I’m just looking for ways to cool down.  So, lately all I can think about is cool colors inspired by the weather  like blue oceans , white fluffy clouds  and light neutrals.  Those thoughts  inspired me to create this freebie with a basic blue and cool color scheme.  So on to the freebie…

As for the  freebie, there are 10 journaling elements in all.  You have 4 journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and word snippets.    As always, these journaling cards and elements  can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping and papercrafting.  Many of you Filofax fans have found new uses for these elements as well.

Facts about the freebie:

  •  10 journaling elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • File size – less than 1 MB
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: blue, white, Light grey

Celebrate Word Art – Free Digital Element

The holiday weekend is rolling in… and if you are looking for a bright red and sparkly word element for your  Fourth of July digital or hybrid scrapbooking , you just might like these.

I hope you have a happy and safe  Fourth of July with your loved ones.

A note about the images:

*All images are made at 300 dpi so the digital files will usually be very large digital files.

*Most will be .png files (transparent backgrounds) so that you can layer them on to your backgrounds or photos.

*Most elements will not include a drop shadow, as I will leave that up to you to add one if you like.

*I will be providing these elements with the assumption that you know how to use either Photoshop Elements, the open source photo editing program GIMP, Photoshop, or other photo editing software.  While I would like to offer support for these digital files, this is currently just a hobby and not my full time business.

*Most of my elements will be made from Commercial use or public domain sources, however if any designer feels their copyright has been infringed upon the freebie will promptly be removed and the freebie will no longer be available.  (I try to be scrupulous about what resources I use, but I may miss some.)
