Free Digital Download – Retro Digital Paper

Hello, blog visitors and followers,… so I am in a retro fashionista mode this week and as I had mentioned in my last post, I have been acquiring a variety of images and other designer stuff in order to experiment with vintage or retro looking paper. And…this is my first foray into a retro digital paper or background I would like to make available as a freebie for personal use. It reminds me of the popular TV show Mad Men.

The picture below is the preview of the paper at 72 dpi, however the original is located on my ~~Photobucket~~ Google account drive and the file size is approximately 3.92 MB.

This digital paper was designed by me and was designed as a 12″ x 12″ , 300 dpi background using a lot of Photoshop brushes, textures and overlays.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.) If you have been here before, you know the drill. If not, you might want to read the quick TOU below before you access the printable.

Retro Fashionista Tags – Free Printable

Hello…here’s my official “retro fashionista” freebie download. I had listed this as one of my favorite genre’s but had not gone around to creating an actual retro fashion freebie printable. Unfortunately, that’s because finding commercial use vintage/retro fashion images is typically a little tough.

I have been wanting to create some garment tags with a vintage ephemera look for either scrapbooking, journaling, smashbooks and other paper crafting uses. So, today’s freebie has a lot of vintage ephemera from vintage sewing patterns and bingo cards. The theme is mostly around 1940s fashion.

Facts About the Freebie:

As for the details about the freebie, there are 15 elements varying from vintage Dennison- like labels, ephemera circles and vintage ephemera garment tags which measure approximately 2.5″ by 4″. As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks or other types of memory keeping.

This free printable has 15 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file. Unfortunately, although I tried to keep the file size smaller, this freebie’s file size is fairly large at approximately 14.11 MB.

These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. The materials I used were all vintage ephemera scanned at a very high resolution, so I believe this contributed to the larger file size.

Shabby Chic Teacup Elements – Free Printable

Hi, hope you are starting the weekend rested and ready for a new freebie! This is a follow-up freebie to my Mother’s Day journaling elements download. Well, at least the digital paper set that I purchased and originally used for my project life freebie. This time, although I used the same colors (basically a color palette of teal and pink colors and of course, shabby chic floral patterns as before) I wanted some shabby chic teacup elements.

I guess these are shapes you can use for journaling, smashbooks as well as scrapbooking. It seems many of you find different uses than what I might have originally designed them for; however, that’s okay with me. Just hoping that you are enjoying them. I added the links below of other journaling freebies that match this digital paper set and color scheme below.

The freebie is an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
The file size is about 5.96 MB.
There are 21 elements of various shapes and sizes, plus a few French word art ticket stubs.
