Blog Update – Using Improved Video Tools for my Social Media Channels

tech and desk supplies on desktop

Hello all my blog followers and visitors! I hope you are having a great  weekend  and carving out time for some crafting and lots of rest and relaxation.  Although in the United States you are probably super busy  for the upcoming holiday season and specifically Thanksgiving!

Lots of good things are happening here at VintageGlam Studio, so I wanted to give you a little review of what’s happening in regard to my Youtube Channel  before we enter the super busy holiday season.  Although, we  are pretty much  there already come to think of it …after a loooong time without publishing, I just wanted to let you know that I am back at it.

I just wanted to share that I am actively refreshing and updating my Youtube Channel and video tools.  At this time, I hope to create lots of videos that basically provide a summarized review of my planner decor layouts in my Happy Planner by Me and My Big Ideas, and Erin Condren Life Planner or .  I intend to also feature the junk journaling journals and tools that I have featured on my Instagram channel.  I have been trying to develop this aspect of my social media for years but didn’t have the time for video editing, uploading and all that jazz.

My plan for this year and into 2026 is to feature   planner decor videos that are under 5 minutes and they are edited so that you can get the real “meat” of the content. I also include most of the materials and supplies and sources in the Youtube description so that you can add it to your “crafting” list , if you are interested. And I would just love it, if you become a subscriber!  I’m sorry that in the past,  I had not posted enough video content.

I had too many other time constraints to provide enough video content for my channel but with the discovery of  ever improving “new” phone and desktop  video editing tools that make this process so much easier and less time consuming, I intend to boost my video content for 2026, even if they are under 30 second shorts!

I plan to share some of my junk journal flip throughs, diy crafting and current video tools.   I would love it if you became a subscriber to my Youtube Channel.  The following are the online video editing tools I am currently using.

Top  Online Video Creation and Editing Tools

Online video editing tools have come a long way, offering a range of options for both beginners and more experienced creators. Here’s a quick rundown:

  1. Flexclip – Super user-friendly with a drag-and-drop interface. Great for simple edits, and it’s cloud-based, so you can work from anywhere. The free plan is limited, but it’s solid for basic needs. Upgrade to business plan to use it’s advanced features.  They have just added additional AI tools that are super amazing!  I have been testing them out and hope to do a longer post in the future. I especially like the “Image to AI Image” feature and the picture below will show the power of this tool.  I can’t get enough of it and have been testing this tool, for sure.  Please note (of course this is a copyrighted image, so I had to change the AI instructions to change the picture enough to not interfere with the copyright).   I believe these tools are available in the PRO version.
  2. Screenpal – This tool combines simplicity with a lot of features. You can trim, add text, and use effects without a steep learning curve.  This is desktop version and a phone app version.  I have used this for recording video short.  Free plan is decent, but you’ll need to pay for higher export quality.
  3. Adobe Express – It’s Adobe, so it’s got solid features and templates. Ideal for quick, polished videos. The free version gives you a lot of customization, but you may need to upgrade for more advanced options and exports.

Overall, these tools make video editing accessible without the need for heavy software or hardware, and fancy equipment. Perfect for quick edits or social media posts, but if you’re after deep functionality, you might need to go pro!  You’ll be seeing more of my video clips as we get prepared for  the new year in 2026!

I also hope to create more vids that cover some of the DIY’s that I have shared on my Instagram account. (You guys are keeping me busy!)   But that is all in the planning  and “get it done” stage for right now, in any case I just wanted to let you know what is going on and share a sample of the type of short  videos that I plan on publishing.

Thanks for your support and we’ll keep blogging away!

Free Retro Fall Bingo Cards Printables

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information. fall printables

Hello peeps, I hope you are all doing fine in this busy fall  soon to be Thanksgiving holiday season and are looking forward to a great week! As you can see, today’s freebie ( a set of Retro Fall Bingo Cards )  was created on Adobe illustrator as reproduction bingo cards and labels for your fall paper crafts and junk journaling.

I really had a lot of fun  designing these elements even though getting the authentic feel and wear for these vintage images is always a challenge.  Hopefully, I am improving and you like today’s freebie printable.

Popular Graphic Sites

I really appreciate all of you who have visited this blog and also checked out Creative Fabrica and Rawpixel and signed up for their design graphics and vintage freebies! Your generous support helps me with providing additional freebies.

In addition,  another one  of my favorite design sites, Rawpixel,  has a great assortment of public domain vintage images!   Create a free account using my link, if you so choose.

And for a slew of great vintage and whimsical fonts and lots of crafting svgs,  don’t forget to try Creative Fabrica. I have a subscription and use a lot of their graphic resources for my designs.

Design Inspiration

I developed the inspiration for these printables  because I have been looking on Ebay for these vintage items and they are hard to come by or pricey.

As for the details about the freebie, there are two printables in all.  The Bingo cards measure approximately 3 1/2″ x 4″   and the other elements ( the turkeys were featured previously but changed them for this year) are on a 8 1/2 by 11″ jpeg.

Although these bingo cards were made specifically as junk journaling elements, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the retro Fall  freebie:

  • There are two free printables;  US letter jpeg files
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
  • Printing tip:   I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte to use as die cuts or white sticker paper ( full page)  to use the labels as stickers.
  • Color theme: autumn colors

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love” , and thanks to those of you who are following me on my Instagram account.    I know you don’t always have time to leave a comment because you are busy, so I really appreciate it when blog visitors take the time to either like or comment on any of my platforms..

Thank you for your single pins and for some of you,  multiple pins of my various designs on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  All this extra content might be a little tiresome (sorry, but I want newcomers to get a hang of what needs to be done to access their freebie!).

If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
