Hello blog followers and visitors!  Yipes, here we are at the beginning of May and heading to half of the year having flown by!  Today,   I just wanted to provide May’s pocket scrapbooking mini calendars!   Hope you are on track  for all planner, junk journaling activities  and diy projects as we jump feet first into the spring and summer season!

These gorgeous photographs are from talented photographers who post their photos on Unsplash, one of my favorite freebie  sites for gorgeous, professional  and free pics.  The rest of the template design is mine.  This time I chose photos with lovely pink roses to commemorate Mother’s Day or at least that holiday is uppermost in mind.

These mini calendars are the size of pocket scrapbooking journaling cards (3″ x 4″) , so they are small enough to pop into your A5 planners, if you choose.  I hope you like them!

Mini Calendar Printing Tips

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution  300 ppi image  download.

[For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium 4″ x 6″ photo paper set on Landscape for the best layout and maintain the aspect ratio so that there is no distortion in your printout.]

The finished items should be able to fit your standard  3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking pages or traveler’s journal  plastic pocket photo inserts or Becky Higgins project life planner pages.  Just thought I would mention again, since not all blog visitors are familiar with this type of crafting.

These inserts are different from your standard clear pocket and business card inserts for the traveler’s notebook.

Enjoy! 🙂

Pink Hearts Journaling Elements – Free Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Wow, a few weeks later from my “Sweethearts” post the weather is almost the same.  Those of you on the east coast are sure getting a beating.  As its freezing weather in many homes and workplaces around the country,  I am sincerely wishing you warmth and a happy hearth in these cold days ahead.

In any case, I was thinking about the color pink (this pink leans to a light coral pink).  So, I created a freebie in a pink and grey color scheme with a variety of hearts scattered about, in some cases literally.

I also used some scaled down real paper texture hearts with roses and basic graphics as the background design.  Is romance in the air as February approaches?  Perhaps.  I hope you like them.

As for the details about this pink hearts journaling elements freebie, there are 18 elements in all.  You have four pink hearts journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.

As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the freebie:

  •  18 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  •  File size = 2.96 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: coral pink, white, grey

Thank You for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.  Thanks for your patience with the lack of blog posts in the past two weeks.

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs and your blogs and have contributed to the increased traffic.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Shabby Chic Roses Tags and Labels – Free Printable

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello…I have been having an enormous amount of fun working with different textures to create digital paper.  I am still trying to perfect my skills but I would like to think I am getting a little closer to creating highly textured and pretty paper.

I used the familiar rose pink and muted teal color scheme for this freebie and I doubled  the freebie fun for today’s blog post  by making a digital paper and then,  also designing tags from that paper!  I have made both freebies available for your use.  I hope you like them.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 12 elements in all.  The tags measure approximately 2″ x 3.5″   and the Dennison type labels measure about 2.5″ by 1″.

Although these  shabby chic roses tags were made specifically as gift tags, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

Facts about the Gift Tags and Digital Paper freebie:

  • This free printable has 12 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is 7.52 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer and I added a lot of texture which often doesn’t show up in pictures on the web.)
  • design style: shabby chic roses, birds, french script, texture
  • Printing tip:   I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte.
  • Color scheme: turquoise or muted teal, peachy-pink, cream, white

Thank you for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love” , you guys made October my biggest web traffic month yet, hopefully, it can be repeated in November.   I know you don’t always have time to leave a comment because you are busy, so I really appreciate it when blog visitors take the time to either like or comment.

Thank you for your single pins (and for some of you),  multiple pins of my various designs on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill and all this extra content can be tiresome (Sorry, but we want newcomers to get a hang of what needs to be done to access their freebie!).  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.
