It’s time for a new freebie! This time I used a black, white and red color scheme and loaded it with 4 whimsical journaling cards and other elements–a total of 12 elements on an 8 1/2 by 11″ page.
It’s a pdf file and was created at 300 dpi. It kind of has a doodled effect to the design which was what I was aiming for when I first stumbled onto the design idea.
The lines on the journaling cards are not perfectly aligned, I was aiming for whimsical and not the typical ocd linear inclination I tend to have. ( I was thrilled to be able to actually design the ladybug myself, since I am constantly trying to improve my design skills.)

I am surprised that I design some of my printables for what I think is a specific purpose and they end up being used to decorate art journals, smashbooks, and even as note sheets in Filofax and daily planners. What can I say? That’s creativity for you.

Thank you so much for designing these, I am new to the ‘planner’ world and am so glad to be able to get printables like these. Do you have any recommendations on what paper or card stock people should print these on? I have no idea where to start!
Dru Cortez says
I use a standard heavy white cardstock but there are many scrapbookers on Pinterest that recommend Epson Premium Presentation paper in matte or gloss. It is available on Amazon.
