August Pocket Scrapbooking Mini Calendar

desktop flat-lay, mini calendars

Hello peeps!  I hope you had a great week and are enjoying your weekend, and with that, I thought I would get this August themed mini calendar out to you today.

I wanted to get these mini-calendars out to you in this month, just in case you are still finishing up on some project life or art journaling projects for August.  A reader commented on the fact that I had missed the month of January for these mini calendars, so I released that one and now have listed the links for the whole year to date, below.

These gorgeous photographs are from talented photographers who post their photos on Unsplash, one of my favorite sites for gorgeous, professional  and free pics. The rest of the template design is mine.    This time I chose photos with lovely orange/peach flowers and who doesn’t love a beautiful butterfly!

These are the size of pocket scrapbooking journaling cards (3″ x 4″) , so they are small enough to pop into your planners, if you like.  I hope you like it!

Mini Calendar Printing Tips

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution  300 ppi image  download.

[For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium 4″ x 6″ photo paper set on Landscape for the best layout and maintain the aspect ratio so that there is no distortion in your printout.]

The finished items should be able to fit your standard  3″ x 4″ pocket scrapbooking pages or traveler’s journal  plastic pocket photo inserts or Becky Higgins project life planner pages.  Just thought I would mention again, since not all blog visitors are familiar with this type of crafting.

These inserts are different from your standard clear pocket and business card inserts for the traveler’s notebook.

Enjoy!:)

Hello all my blog followers and visitors! I hope you are having a great weekend and carving out time for some crafting and lots of rest and relaxation.

Lots of good things are happening here at VintageGlam Studio, so I wanted to give you a little review of what’s happening in regard to my Youtube Channel  before we enter the super busy holiday season.  Although, we  are pretty much  there already come to think of it …what with Halloween parties and Halloween itself, I know you must be busy!

I just wanted to share that I am actively refreshing and updating my Youtube Channel.  At this time, I am creating lots of videos that basically provide a summarized review of my planner decor layouts in my Happy Planner by Me and My Big Ideas, Erin Condren Life Planner and Sugar Paper Planner for Target.  Most of the planner decor videos are under 5 minutes and they are edited so that you can get the real “meat”. I also include most of the materials and supplies and sources in the Youtube decscription so that you can add it to your “crafting” list , if you are interested. And I would just love it, if you become a subscriber!

I also hope to create more vids that cover some of the diy’s that I have shared on my Instagram account. (You guys are keeping me busy!)   But that is all in the planning  and “get it done” stage for right now, in any case I just wanted to let you know what is going on and share a video that I published today.

Thanks for your support and we’ll keep blogging away!

Fall Word Art Sentiments – Free Printable Download

This post may contain affiliate links. I may receive a commission, at no cost to you, when you choose to use the links provided. See the Disclosure Policy for more information.

Hello and Happy Friday! Well, the Thanksgiving holiday is about two weeks away and as it is approaching the weekend…it’s crafting time.  So, today  I am releasing  a set of fall word art sentiments that you can use  for project life or other types of pocket scrapbooking.

These mini word art journaling cards are sized at 2″ x 2″ and are designed with a handwritten type of font as well as other script fonts.   I have been working on a variety of handwritten types of designs including my own writing as you might have seen if you are following my Instagram account.  Although, I will say that  for these cards   I have added a few more commercial use decorative fonts and I had  lots of fun creating them!

Although these are meant for project life or pocket scrapbooking, of course, you can also use them on your other papercrafting ,  Filofax planner add ons as well as greeting card crafting.

How to Use this “Journaling Cards” Printable:

There are a few ways you can use this printable to create your journaling cards and elements and I have included a few in the following instructions:

  1. The easiest way to use this printable is to print it out on a full sheet of white cardstock and if you own a Silhouette Cameo or Silhouette Portrait or other digital cutter you can cut out the journaling cards and journaling elements using their designer software. ( **Please note: You must have the Silhouette Designer Edition software upgrade to open pdfs in your Silhouette. There are several pdf to jpg converters online if your software just can’t open a pdf. You will have to spend some time creating the cutlines for the silhouette but this should make creating the cutfile and cutting it out a lot easier.)
  2. The most labor intensive (or time consuming) way is to print out the journaling cards or journaling elements on 65 lb. white cardstock and “fussy cut” out by hand, I have spaced the elements so that you can use a pair of good craft scissors or a slide paper trimmer  to get a clean cut and handle the fussy cutting.

My expression of gratitude for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.  I also appreciate the links on Facebook and Pinterest and for some of you, your personal blogs.   And thanks for checking out my Instagram pics as well, sure would love it if you can  follow me!

Here’s a sample of the fall word phrases that I designed printed and cut out on a heavy bond printer paper.

Here’s a sample of how they look like in a 6″ x  8″ project life layout inserted into 2″ x 2″ pocket page.

Click on the sample preview picture below for the full resolution pdf download or on this link>>> HERE. For best printing results,  make sure you use a premium matte photo paper; however, heavy bond printer paper will work as well.

So, enjoy! :)”
