Hello peeps! It’s the middle of the week, and to add to my fruit theme printables, I wanted to provide a new set of digital paper printables that I have been working on. Today, I am providing a set of seamless gorgeous watercolor lemon digital papers with a bright color theme.

I designed about 85% of the background vector graphics and other elements in these papers, the lemons were a design site freebie.

This is a whole new fun part of designing that I am currently exploring as I get more familiar with using Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator for designing digital paper and patterns. This is my third digital paper set, that I have provided.

I have a new appreciation for all those designers who design digital paper and provide them on Etsy and other online shops. The fundamentals are initially easy but getting symmetry and other aspects of the designs right is much more difficult than it seems. This type of design is an art!

Facts about the Digital Paper

The picture below is the preview of the paper at 72 dpi, however the original is located on my Google Drive account and the file size is approximately a little hefty at 14 MB.

This set of digital papers were designed by me and were designed as 8″ x 8″ , 300 dpi seamles digital papers using several Photoshop CC brushes, textures and overlays. There are eleven 8″ x 8″ jpeg files in the zip file download.

The pictures not shown for the gingham patterns and lemon pattern with white background, but they are all included in the zip file. I am still trying to master the “symmetry” factor in the the gingham but it is seamless and has a hand drawn look.

I plan to release a few more of my designs from time to time in the future. I am still working on the coordinating graphic ( lines, dots, chevron) type of paper. The list of ideas is growing.

Color Theme

Many designs come with some inspiration, and the following pic gives you a peek on the pattern I designed for this digital paper set and the kitchen photo that was the inspiration.

Materials and Supplies

You will need to have software that opens zip files in order to access the jpgs. You will also so need access to some tye of online or offline photo editing software, like Canva to use the files.

Hello, I hope you are all doing fine mid-week and are looking forward to a great weekend. As you can see, today’s freebie ( a set of farm tags and gingham labels) is made with vintage farm ephemera and a harvest theme and my favorite, red, cream and black color scheme.

I really had a lot of fun designing these tags even though collecting the vintage images was a real chore. Certainly, not anywhere like the back breaking work of actually being on the farm, ( I did a couple of stints in my time as a teen in Northern California); long story for another day.

Farm Tags Design Inspiration

The background was a great find on the Old Design Shop‘s great site (a great resource for royalty free vintage images) where I found a vintage farm almanac page from the turn of the century.

I added some chalkboard anagram-like alpha, some strips of virtual washi tape and vintage chicken and rooster images.

As for the details about the freebie, there are 8 elements in all. The tags measure approximately 2″ x 3 1/2″ and the the red gingham labels are approximately 3″ x 2″. I used a photo-realistic paper texture for the red gingham labels.

Although these tags were made specifically as gift tags, as always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.

They can also be used in your kitchen/ household labeling as seen in the picture below.

Facts about the farmhouse freebie:

This free printable has 8 elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
The file size is 8.52 MB. Second pdf file is 3 MB.
These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp. (The preview pictures on the blog and at Google are at 72 dpi, the actual download’s color is actually much smoother and softer.)
Printing tip: I would advise that you print on heavy white cardstock, plain or matte.
Color theme: red, cream, black
