Free Printable Download – Airmail 2 Journaling Elements

Airmail2-journaling-elements-header

Hello, blog followers and visitors!  It seems that just as I was designing this freebie, Southern California was struck with a  series of earthquakes with a nice 5.1 earthquake jolt and what seemed like ages shake,  right smack nab in the middle.   As the song goes there was “a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on! (literally).   Now, that was a designing first for me!  However, after the ground stopped shaking, I persisted and kept on with designing today’s freebie 4″ x 6” airmail  journaling  elements freebie.

The freebie for today was designed to coordinate with a  blog post freebie where I used the same color scheme and theme. It was posted sometime in August of 2013.

Airmail-journaling-elements

The link for the coordinating 3″ x 4″ journaling cards is  included below.

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 8 lements in all.  You have two filler/titling cards (4″ x 6″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.  And, that goes for you Filofax/planner fans, as well.  As usual, hope you will like these!

Facts about the freebie:

  • This free printable has 8 airmail journaling elements on an 8 1/2″ by 11″ pdf file.
  • The file size is less than 3.84 MB.
  • These elements were created at 300 dpi, so your printing results should be very clear and sharp with a smooth lay down of the ink color.  The preview pictures both on the blog and on Google are at 72 dpi, so you often can not see all the detail accurately or colors are often distorted.
  • Color scheme: slate blue, red, cream, white

My expression of gratitude for all your Pinterest and other social media pins…

I’d like to say thanks to all those taking the time to comment, I sure appreciate the gracious “thank yous” and the legitimate “link love”.   I have been nearly overwhelmed with the positive response from blog followers and blog visitors.  My web traffic keeps growing every month and I think my last post with the new 4″x 6″ designs boosted my traffic even more.  Sure do appreciate it!

Thank you for your pins on Pinterest as well as Facebook links.  I also appreciate mentions in your blogs with appropriate link backs and active links.  Many of you have been kind enough to feature some of my designs on your blogs and that has contributed to the increased traffic.

I hope you don’t mind when I check out your Pinterest boards, and repin some of your pins to some of my Pinterest boards, these pins usually provide inspiration for new designs of my own!  You guys and gals often find things I don’t often run into and it just serves to expand and generate new ideas.

As usual these freebies are free for personal use, (check my TOU if you haven’t previously.)  If you have been here before, you know the drill.  If not, you might want to read the quick  TOU below before you access the printable.

Some things you should know before downloading:

* Vintage Glam Studio printables (formerly under the name Vintage Glam Collectibles) are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. *Please do not remove the watermark or modify the design in any way other than for your own Personal use.
*If you post this on the internet, please give credit to Vintage Glam Studio & link back to my blog, so others can obtain the resources.  Pinterest, Twitter and Facebook are great social media sharing platforms, it’s the  sharing without a link back that can be a problem.

Hello, blog followers and visitors!  Well, it seems by popular demand  (hat tip: Renee) I have come up with a new freebie layout for project life journaling elements that now will include 4″ x 6″  cards.  So, this is the design’s debut….drum roll, please.

I am not quite sure if  I will create them all the time but going forward, I think I can manage  from time to time to post a few designs. I have been crunched for time and I would have to post them separately on another blog post and refer back to the coordinating 3″ x 4″ journaling cards.  I hope you don’t mind.

Hello peeps!  If you have been following this blog for more than a few months now, you will know that I really love the color scheme that includes black, white and bright red.  I hadn’t created one in a while; so,  I decided late in the day Saturday to create another black, white and red freebie, this time with a few vintage images. This is the third set in my “Whimsical” black and white series.   Some elements were redone with either smaller sizes, new fonts or different shapes.  I really love the contrast and versatility of these journaling cards and elements.

Whimsical-journaling-elements-series

The images above are for the previous journaling elements in the “Whimsical” series  that were released last year.  The links to these other journaling elements are located below.

In addition, I released/designed two other similar black, white and red color scheme  journaling elements which also included chalkboard textures.  You can find the links to these below as well.  And that pretty much includes  the round-up of all the black, white and red themed journaling elements I have designed to date.

BW&R-journaling-elements-preview

Thanks to The Graphics Fairy for all the vintage images she makes available for creative use. Of course, I had to add  bright red hearts…the heart  image expresses what most people feel about their precious memories!

As for the details about today’s freebie, there are 18 elements in all.  You have four journaling cards (3″ x 4″) and a few more labels, tags and  elements as well.  As always, they can either be used for journaling in your project life projects, smashbooks, art journals or other types of memory keeping.   Someone requested that I design 4″ x 6″ titling cards, and I am working on a potential layout.  As for today’s elements, hope you like them. 🙂

Facts about the freebie:

Hey, Peeps!  Well, it’s a few days before the official celebration for St. Patrick’s Day but I imagine this weekend will be filled with holiday celebration and fun leprechaun parties.  So, with the upcoming holiday in mind, I decided to create a project life freebie that includes iconic Irish images with a vintage twist.  I included a lot of authentic textures and muted green and neutral colors as well and with that…Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

*A little update*…I have been wanting to do this for a few months now and am so excited to get or make these live samples available.  I had to wait for my tech guru son to hook up the printer to the network ( all my laptop and electronics are on a mini-home network), so that I could really utilize the “print and cut ” feature of my Silhouette Design Studio software.  This is the result!  I still have a few calibration issues I have to resolve with the registration marks, but it is working!

I tried the following samples and finished the details with some original “scherenschnitte”  (I think that’s German for scissor cutting) scissors featured in the picture below and a corner rounder. Keep in mind, I printed these samples on plain white cardstock.  Just wanted to give you a sample of the 300 dpi print quality. Of course, your results will vary depending on your printer’s ink, the model of the printer and the quality cardstock you use.
